Other than the more elaborate artwork and "Guitar Lesson (Stereo)", does this add anything to the original version by OBR (OBR-305) ?

Sounds like alternate titles to the songs that surfaces in the late 90s on "High Temperature", try CD2 here :

Thanks a bunch ! THe OBR releases are close to my heart, so exciting to get them in 1993 after years of waiting for new SG outtakes. But I listened to them the other day and I thought the quality was better. Let's see how SODD with them, some people were a bit disappointed at the time based on what I read. I also got the VGP Place Pigalle the other day and they sound rather good but have

How can you be sure ? Once thing is certain OBR were the first out of the gate with these tapes, sometimes in stereo, all of PP is in mono based on what I've read. Anyway that's not giving us a source for "Paris Results 2" yet ;-)

ok, I posted a message in Edmund's v1 topic to see if he has v2. It seems SODD rereleased v1/v3/Sheep Dip in "Paris Results 2007 Remaster" so I'd settle for that too, even if the sound isn't great apparently, there was link for it on Dime but it's dead now.

Realized today that I didn't have any digital version of the OBR releases from 1993 that were so exciting at the time, what with the release of titles that had only be rumoured to exist for years ! I found "Paris Results 1" and "Better Results" (links below if that can help someone) but not "Paris Results 2". It seems that VGP rereleased them under the 4CD

That version is really something, doesn't sound at all like anything Exile, more like the 77/78/79 outtakes like Claudine. It's funny how we've categorized, at least I have, different eras. I wonder...couldn't this be an ADTL rehearsal for the 1978 tour ? Their archiving seems so totally messed up (Mick had to look up the Buddy Guy recording from 1997 on the internet !) th

QuoteMrsHop Quote It's odd that the "reggae version" only surfaced in 2003 (or was it 2004) out of the blue and alone on the "Tattoo Too" CF. At the time some argued it came from the 1975 sessions where it was supposedly started but it sounds 77/78 to me. I would've said the opposite, ie: the 'reggae version' sounds very much like the new sounds/styles t

Quotemidnrambler Quoterumple21Thankyou Urbansteel - I had a poor quality copy before. Is it a definite that these remixes on vol 1 and 2 are fakes or is there some doubt? No, there is no doubt. Surprising however what you can do with a computer. yes, especially since they came out very quickly after B2B, maybe in October or November. That was one of the reasons the infamous Hans Mulders ripoff
