Good news for all the John Mayer fans. The John Mayer Trio (including Steve Jordan and Pino Palledino) is in the studio to record a new album. I hope it wont take that long to release a new album as Keith did with Crosseyed Heart.

I was surprised that Mick plays the guitar quite well. Of course I know that he plays (slide)guitar but I never paid that much attention to it. He plays a very early version of Brown Sugar and Queen of Spades with Ike and Tina Turner next to him.

Don't know of it is pistes before but it sounds interesting Credit: James Glader Don Henley is going country for Cass County, his first solo album in 15 years. Rolling Stone reports that among the guests joining the Eagles singer/drummer for the project are Mick Jagger, country music legends Merle Haggard and Dolly Parton, country artists Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, Ashley Monroe

I mean, their sound changed a lot over the years. Especially on stage. That's also got to do with the change of band members and side musicians on stage. So can we define the typical Stones sound? It's more than just an open G tuned guitar ofcourse and do we listen and love the same band we a became a fan of because we love Exile on mainstreet, Let It Bleed or Sticky Fingers for example

I think it would be great if Tina Turner joins the Stones for a song. Other guests I would love to see with the Stones are: * Beyonce * Chuck Berry (although I doubt if it would be special nowadays looking at Chuck) * Tedeschi trucks band
