I really like this song... was surprised to learn that it's one of the reasons held up for Goats Head Soup not being a good album. It's excellent! This, "Winter," and "100 Years Ago" give GHS a unique mood.
What he said!!I feel the same way,I love the Stones more for it.I for one dont need ever song to be open G or Chuck style rock. There is a time and place f Forum: Tell Me
Saw him in 1999 myself and was blown away also,I am looking at a good bootleg from the Royal Festival Hall 2002,the show where he pulls out the Jeff Beck Group and YardBirds stuff on top of his solo guitar stuff, that is the footage that the world needs to see. Forum: Tell Me
Beck is indeed the man,but people please dont compare his playing to the current Stones,I love all kinds of players. There are things he does and things Keith and Ronnie does, two kinds of music.I love it all. Forum: Tell Me
Mind blowing guitar work.
I see why all the greats say he is the greatest.
Has anyone seen it?Live at Ronnie Scotts.
STRATUS can make every guitar player in the world go ohhh!!shit!!!,NO LIE!!,you got to see it to believe it. Forum: Tell Me
I think in the sonic level Goats Head Soup and Black and Blue caught my hear 1 second in when comparing CBS to the Virgin reissues,If I can get 100 Years Ago and Hey Negrita to sound better then they already do then I Am in. Forum: Tell Me
Wow!!!
This thread could be a book,I've been reading this thread for what seems years.
But anyway I'm very excited about it because my Stones collection 71-83 is in a chambles because of moving from one State to another, road tripping them suckers to death. These CDs are a must have for me, to replace some that havent been in the case since 1997.Get them all fresh and new again with fre Forum: Tell Me
This is why I love the 75-76 tour. You can hear Ronnies Faces sound changing into his Stones sound.the live at Kilburn 74 is a great example of Ronnie leading and Keith following. Forum: Tell Me
The Faces kick some serious ass,Woody on lead is awesome.
Glad and Sorry,Love Lives Here,Debris,Tell Everyone,My Fault,Too Bad..what a sound.
As everyone said he used several guitars, and I loved them all. Forum: Tell Me
I love long intro on Tumbling Dice
Mick working the crowd Ronnie and Keith riffing and grooving.
Classic Stones buy the time Mick sings the first line of Tumbling Dice.
You Gotta Love it.
PS,the quality is okay for me because today is my first time seeing it. Forum: Tell Me
What is the deal with the rest of the Fort Worth footage from 78?What is the rumor or reason it wasnt shown on closed circuit tv like it was supposed to.Is the film damaged like the Knebworth footage? Forum: Tell Me
All I know is that new Mccartney album with the Fireman is great.
Paul is all over the place, sounds like no pressure on him to sound commercial, but Paul cant help it.
I think giving a chance the Stones could do one more great album like this. Forum: Tell Me
I think this is my favorite Beatles album.
The sheer size of it is very impressive, alot of varied songs
I love it all,I turned 40 in July and I have smoked alot of lefthand cigarettes in the last 18 years to this album.
Happy 40th White Album. Forum: Tell Me
Great news if it is true.
I think Ronnie can pull it off alone.
I think he could show the world his true talents, just like Rod needs too. Forum: Tell Me
This is a good record, there playing together is awesome. You can hear that 100years ago and Heartbreaker groove throughout...the BUS is the jam.Taylor rips it up on the Bus.Has anyone heard this live album? Forum: Tell Me
