Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteMartin90 Quotegrzegorz67 Hot tip for those wishing to travel back East after the show. There’s a Megabus Service leaving a stop very close to the stadium in Cardiff at 10 past Midnight and heading for London. It’s very slow but it will get you there. It calls at Bristol, Bath. Corsham, Chippenham and Swindon and will finally get you to London around 5.it calls at Heathrow

Quotethomas guitar Quotegrzegorz67 Quotethomas guitar Have a question about taking the train after the show in Cardiff Is it possible to take a train from Cardiff to London after the concert or until the next day? Thanks for help Been discussed before and a long running sore for Cardiff events. The scheduled last train back is about 9pm. They may add a special service for big events back

I bought GA for second Olympic Stadium and Twickenham but then saw LD tickets come out sooner than expected and was really successful there - got 2 for Manchester (so will have 1 spare), 1 for Murrayfield and 8 for Cardiff. Got a few family and friends coming to that one!

Well that was fun! Got my code 2 hours later than expected, then went in on my phone and was stuck in the waiting room for 2 hours. Gave up and tried again when I got home and got my GA for London Stadium straight away. For the other UK and Ireland shows it's Lucky Dip for me,

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteGazza Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteGazza QuoteTopi It's not the resident's decision in Dublin is it? They can meet all the want but it's the council that has final say. We might see a tour announced sans Dublin on Monday. Or with Dublin TBC. Thats correct. Obviously there WILL be objections (there'll be people who will object to ANY concert in their neighbou

Be really disappointing if Cardiff misses out but it's beginning to look that way. With the coverage it had in the local media I assumed it was a done deal.

Looking good for Cardiff - As much as I enjoy travelling to see them and visiting new places, still nice (and cheaper) to get on the train after the gig and go back to my own house!

QuoteGazza Sadly, yes. Although it could hold about 20,000+ for a gig I think. As a Linfield member, I'd love a gig there for sentimental reasons plus for the fact that I'd have access to a members pre-sale. :-) The 'arena' (ie, a field) at the back of the Kings Hall has been used for outdoor gigs before (Springsteen 2013 - about 22,000 people) and there are a couple of pa

That was well worth the 12 hour queue. There were some there though who were only interested in the signed book to get it on eBay.

QuoteMonsoon Ragoon I don't think Cardiff, let alone Sunderland is "home" for The Rolling Stones. They will only play such gigs if the negotiations with big markets partly fail. They prefer cities where they don't have an 2 hours drive to the hotel after the show. I've just checked and there are definitely hotels in Cardiff, so a 2 hour drive not necessary,

Quotegrzegorz67 QuoteWelsh Stone Still no rumours for UK apart from Twickenham, which is a bit concerning. I don't think so. They said there would be an extended UK Tour. Surely Cardiff will get a show. Imho, the Principality Stadium is Britain's very best sports stadium and I'm not Welsh so not biased, certainly not after what happened to my own nation there last Saturday T

QuoteGazza Quoteslewan QuoteHealy52003 QuoteLien Meanwhile, the concert boss was keeping tight-lipped on whether he is applying for permission to hold a fourth gig at Croke Park this summer. But he did quash rumours he has booked the Rolling Stones for the slot, saying: “I don’t know where that came from.” Pissed off now really pissed off come on, folks, who really wants an open-air

Some wonderful photos there. Thanks to the Stones I've been to some great places that I wouldn't have been to otherwise. This time did the Spielberg, Zurich and Lucca shows and turned it into a bit of a holiday with my wife to celebrate my 50th birthday - visited some lovely cities and had some spectacular train journeys thrown in. All that plus the Stones!

Congratulations - I've always wanted one. I have a very hazy memory as a 12/13 year old on a coach trip to France in the early 80s seeing one in a bar that we drove past but that's the closes I've ever been to one.

Well, Spielberg was an experience. My bus from Vienna got there quite early so had plenty of time to kill in the mud. Muddiest gig I've been to since Slane Castle. Not the best organised gig - took ages to get out, finally getting back to my hotel in Vienna at around 5 a.m. I enjoyed the gig more than Keith - something seriously wound him up. Right, on to Zurich next which is on a football p

I'm staying in Vienna for this and I've booked a bus ticket through oeticket.com. Unfortunately the bus doesn't leave until after 5 so I'll miss the support acts. I'm tempted to cancel the bus ticket if possible and book a train instead - trying to do this online but my schoolboy German is not up to the task I'm afraid! Anybody got any advice regarding trains? Cheers
