In my opinion they are both weak songs. First time I ever really cringed when hearing a Stones tunes was when I heard those female singers at the end of Where The Boys Go. To me both of these songs could be classified under that Lies type of song. I guess if you like the Stones trying to be punk you can enjoy these tunes.

I don't agree at all with Doxa. Don't even know where to start but I think Keith developed a lot after Taylor left as well and some of his best years were 1977-1983. Also there are recorded studio albums where you can hear Taylor solo very up front in the mix.. Can't You Hear Me Knocking and Sway are both examples from the first full album he did with them.

I think drugs and booze has a lot to do with it, I've seen a few Taylor shows were he was so loaded that he was just awful. I think the Stones have done more than one good album after Taylor left. Although I know many don't want to consider Tattoo You as a real album just cause all the songs weren't written that year.
