Quotepeoplewitheyes Not a new band at all, but I re-heard the Dandy Warhols 'Bohemian Like You' yesterday, and was shocked at what a Brown Sugar (etc) rip off it is. I mean, I think it's a cool song, but I cannot believe the Stones' sweaty-palmed lawyers didn't get involved with a demand. Bohemian Like You They would be very busy if they were to adress every rock

I would say his fills and solos on Hold On To Your Hat from Steel Wheels is the flashiest he ever tried to be, and with success that is.

Nothing amazing about it, as they were fueled with drugs and alcohol, but cool anyway!

QuoteCooltoplady Doesn’t the master before it’s mixed have to be leaked to do this? Yes it does. You'll need the isolated tracks.

As a guitarplayer myself, I know you can’t control feedback from the guitar that precisely.

Ernie Ball made special Keith stringsets some years ago. They were 11s to 42. Either way these minor changes won’t do damage to the guitar. Worst case - the trussrod needs a little tweak.

Quotemidimannz Ok, let's work it out for myself..... Oh ohhh How does he play Wild Horses? I know Bm Am in open chords and barred chords, but can't figure out what chord fingering He's playing in open G .... It's a no start here ....

Put the low E-string where the A-string is supposed to be. 5 strings, 3 fingers and 1 @#$%& is what it takes!

Quoteryanpow The mix is pretty sterile sounding, especially considering Bill was still playing with them. I agree, and the bassguitar is way too low in the mix. Almost inaudible. The Vault release from Tokyo sounds much better.

Great drummer. I especially loved his work on MSG`s Assault Attack.

Great track! Typical Stonesriff, catchy chorus, a lot of «air» in it. A little dated productionwise, but as mentioned by others, better than Steel Wheels. Still too thin sounding. Love the crisp guitars, though.

Same flat and dull mix as the VL Uncut-release. Charlies drums sound like they're in a cardboard box, or rather; they ARE cardboard boxes. Too bad as the Totally Stripped from the same era (tour) is one of the best sounding live-recordings ever released by the Stones.

Ronnie is listed both on guitar and pedal steel, but if so, it`s removed from the final mix. I for sure can`t here him. Wood plays a rhythm track, a slide track, a solo track and there's a pedal steel in the

Looks like JTM 45s or Superleads. Although I find the shape of the control-panel opening a little oddly shaped. Too oval "corners" if you see what I mean. Could be the light and / or picture quality of course.

Good album that would've been great if Gunface, Always Suffering and Thief in the Night were lost.
