Of course you can. Just like I can ask you why it you didn't find him good. I don't know what Taylor has to do with this, though. Taylor also was a Rolling

Mick is older than Keith and today is a better guitarist.I would not say it but for the fact that for years people have ridiculed Brian’s performance at the Rock N Roll Cirus, but he IMO played YCAGWYW better and at a faster pace than Keith does here. And Brian also went on stage after midnight and was wasted. He also probably wasn’t very familiar with the song

QuoteJordyLicks96 QuoteTaylor1 Could someone isolate the different guitar parts? I have audio of the isolated guitar parts that I'm going to be posting to my YouTube channel soon. That's also why I was asking whose guitar parts were which so I can properly label them in the videos. That would be great. Thanks

Quoteryanpow The live versions of HOF from 76 and the El Mocombo version from the following year are smokin' hot. Re: Bill's contribution to the Stone's live sound, he gave their songs menacing quality. Everything sounded slightly dangerous. This is even present on the otherwise "clean" sound of the SW and UJ tour. They never had that again after he left.Agree

Quotestickyfingers101 QuoteTaylor1 I mean replaced meaning equaled. And Ronnie had no input in Bill’s”replacement”.He wasn’t even a full member until Bill left. And if he did have a say in picking one, it would have maybe been a better choice.Jones may be a great bass player, but IMO has never had the right chemistry for this band Anybody who tries to "equal" somebody else is on a fool

The point is Bill and Charlie were the best combo in rock. You can’t replace that. But ,I still think Voodoo Lounge and Bridges are full of terrific songs.I think they really miss Bill live.

QuoteTravelinMan Interesting instrumental version where you can make out the horn parts better. No guitar solo either. Another example of Jagger over singing. His vocals are great up to the outro, but then he has to do the singing and talking over the outro THis sounds better without his vocals over the outtro

Ronnie played it great in 1976.Im just saying Darryl was the wrong choice for this band .And I think his playing does affect the overall band.I listen to his solos on Miss You,and I find them sterile and boring, even though Jagger says he wishes he could play bass like him.

Darryl plods along when he should be rocking and plays too many notes that add nothing to the songs. He was a bad choice.I don’t care if he played with Miles Davis. He can’t hold a candle to Bill.

Wood played a great solo on the Paris 1976 shows.I think on the Licks Tour the fault is mostly with Darryl. He can’t play it with the genius of Bill.He has no sense of rhythm

QuoteHairball I saw them play it at Vredenburg 2003, and I'm pretty sure they played it a couple of other times during the Licks Tour. Fantastic tune and the studio version is one of my favorites, but live it was a bit messy (and not in the best way) - Ronnie completely screwed up the solo. He played the solo really well in Paris1976.I forgot they played it on the Licks Tour.I think the bl

I always liked this song.I wonder why the Stones never played this again live aftersome really good performances of this on the 1976 tour.I think they only played it again after that at the El Mocambo shows.
