There is one not so slight difference between the Stones and Metallica playing new songs and taking chances. The vast majority of the crowd at a Metallica show are Metallica fans (I was one of them). The vast majority of the crowd at a Stones show these days are people that want to say they were there as a discussion topic with their friends/at work, and/or to say they saw the Stones and/or to bu

I will be shocked if they don't play more shows with Exhibitionism coming to the U.S. in November. My guess is they will announce the dates of Exhibitionism and the dates of the shows at the same time. Hopefully soon.

BV has already said there will be more shows. And if BV says it, take it to the bank!

different strokes for different folks--while of course it would be better to see them in a small venue, which I have done for most but not all of these acts, I personally think it would be a blast to see this lineup all together in a huge festival type atmosphere--the place will be electric!!--only hoping I can go--to each their own--their is no right answer out there, just your own answer

I don't want to burst your buuble about it being the stones but don't you think this board would have know it if that were the case. BV has always been WAY ahead of the curve and we have known for a good number of tours now when a Stones announcement was coming. Haven't been surprised by one in many years.

Ok, so it was about 50/50 on here about whether I should go to see Meatloaf. Well, I went and here is my review/commentary. Given what I learned by going to the concert I am not surprised it was a 50/50 viewpoint on going or not. In short, I was very happy I went. I got a last minute ticket at a reasonable price in the 4th row of a small amphitheater and it was a beautiful night. It was also r

I am thinking of going to see Meat Loaf on Thursday in Pompano Beach FL. Has anyone seen him in concert recently? I have read varying things from amazing to awful but trust the views on this board. So, thoughts?

the merch truck in san diego, orlando and nashville all had the most merch, including city specific stuff--i'm not talking about a stand inside the ticketing area, i'm referring to the big merch truck that is parked outside the stadium but on the grounds--it's before you give your ticket to go in and it's quite large and has everything they sell--go early and have a look aroun

merch truck has been open by 3pm in all stops so far i believe. makes life much simpler to buy then before the crowds and put in your car and not have anything to worry about at the show except the show! by the way, the lines at the merch stands have been outrageous--very long waits--no wait at all if you go between 3-5pm outside the stadium and you can see all the stuff very easily also--it'

Actually, Keith has been starting songs before Mick is "ready" many times during the course of a show for numerous tours now. I think it is actually some sort of game they play because if I can notice it, going to maybe 5 shows per tour, certainly Mick knows what's going on as well, and generally doesn't look very surprised about it. I just think it keeps them from getting bor

i think i've purchased it at all at the 2 shows i attended--San Diego and Orlando--the prices are steep but the quality is good and things run true to normal sizing--go with your normal size and you should be fine

just poking a little fun at the haters on the board--just enjoy the shows and be thankful the boys are touring with or without Mick Taylor--if you are unhappy about no Mick Taylor, or the setlists, or the prices, it's very simple--don't go! the unrestrained negativity astounds me

Not only will I enjoy the heck out of it, but 1) I hope there are more cash grabs ahead that I can enjoy and 2) I'm delighted that Mick Taylor won't be there.

I just saw the show in Miami and it's well worth going to. Joan Jett is excellent and The Who does a hits show. Interesting that they don't get the same crap as the Stones regarding setlists even though The Who setlist is the exact same almost every night.

Thanks Josepi. Does that mean drop in Sapphire pricing or Sapphire seats now available as general tickets?

San Diego and Orlando so far. Contemplating Nashville as well. I know Mick says he's not contemplating retiring but I feel that this could well be the last U.S. tour. Hope not but willing to part with some extra cash to see an extra show or 2 just in case.
