QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack I still get smiles on my face remembering the 2019 Elton show i saw. Loved it 100% Me too. It was almost exactly 30 years since I first saw him in 1989 in my first concert. This time in Atlanta in 2019 where Elton has a home and always gives his best. I had an aisle seat in the front row upper level side stage on the side of his piano. The young woman next to me w

QuoteRiffKichards How about to change the title of this thread since there is probably a typo error in this title ? I may be wrong but... to write « Corona virus » is inappropriate, it looks like an advertisement for a beer brand . As far as I know, the correct term is in one word « Coronavirus ». Anybody agrees with me ? I don't think there is any confusion about a thread tit

CNN Center is probably the closest place for some sort of meet and greet. A large fast food court, a couple of more upscale restaurants and bars, and a large area of chairs and couches where people can just gather. It is connected to the arena which is just across the street from the stadium.

It is not a surprise to me there is a lot of tickets left. That stadium is really large in a concert configuration considering that behind the stage is where the fewest seats are. A weeknight in late May is not optimal either. And there are lots of other big events in the region within a month of the show. They got a pretty big opener last time with Brad Paisley and surprise guest Joe Walsh.

I heard on the news this morning something I did not factor into all this. It said events may have to be canceled even if there is low risk to those attending if police, fire and rescue resources are in short supply dealing with problems in other areas.

QuoteCJFP I've heard rumors circulating from some gents I know involved with Liam Gallagher that he might tag along for this tour. He opened in 2018 for the Stones and 2019 for the Who. He is likely going to be touring the US this spring/summer so it would make sense. I would be happy for that at my show in Atlanta.

QuoteTKinOH Pittsburgh tix came today... New TM Smart Tickets, smaller w/ chip imbedded and no more barcodes. Has anyone used these for any events yet or are they just coming through? The envelope even included a little instruction page showing the details to just tap the ticket on the scanner at the gate... Wow, I never heard of these before. I would much prefer that to a phone tic

Of course, I like the song with Elton. It is kind of sad they are singing about "the end" and both currently canceling tour dates.

Quotetonyc Quotetonyc I really like the new song from the movie "(I'm Gonna) Love Me Again". I hope it gets added to the setlist later this year. Great song. It won at the Golden Globes and is nominated for the Oscars. Do it Elton. Don't have a "Doom & Gloom" attitude about playing new songs. Elton got the Oscar for this as well. First time Bernie Taupin go

Maybe Bruce is thinking about some "Vote For Change" type shows later this year. If they were thinking about October and just pushing back until January then no need to worry...yet.

QuoteTumblinDice76 St. Paul and the Broken Bones were very good as an opener in Chicago! I kind of like openers myself. Yes! I liked them so much when they opened in Atlanta in 2015 I saw them in Knoxville by themselves a couple of years later. I doubt I would have known to go if I had not already seen them.

QuoteCooltoplady who cares who opens Im serious I imagine the person who started the thread cares. I responded so I guess I do, too. I don't require an opening act that is good but I look at it as a nice bonus. Better to spend 45 minutes enjoying music than just waiting and waiting and waiting. Thanks to the Stones I got to see Bryan Adams, No Doubt, St. Paul & The Broken Bones

QuoteTumblinDice76 Last year it took a LONG time for the opening acts to be named so we probably wont know anything until early April or so. My guess is 15 different openers which has been the trend the last few tours. I thought they did a good job putting together a respectable lineup on fairly short notice considering the postponement. Also, last year only had 16 out of 17 openers as Miami

QuoteGlimmerGirl24 QuoteMLH Someone posted about transferring LDs but I can't find it. Reason I'm interested is I have LDs for Tampa but might not be able to go, and I would like to be able to transfer them to my niece and her husband who live near there. Anyone know the best way to accomplish this? It requires calling and getting a really nice TM rep. Last year it was pretty easy si

Quotejahisnotdead I just bought my ticket. Section 327 Row 13. I'm beyond angry that I wasn't allowed the option of a printed ticket. It's wonderful that Ticketmaster managed to spoil my day. I like a printed ticket, too. I passed on what was offered today and will try for Lucky Dip. They have to give you a printed ticket for that.

QuoteTKinOH 2015 in Nashville was great, other than the brutal humidity... Hope some of the Country VIPs come on down like they did that night. A good opener like Brad Paisley brought 'em in, too! Late May will hopefully be a little cooler. Smart of them to move the show up from last time.

QuoteRollingFreak Quotekeefriff99 Hardly a Don Henley solo show...I'd love to see that setlist live personally. I would too. With Glenn Frey and Don Felder lol. Randy Meisner as well but he's just too sick. I'd go see that show with those 4 guys (Henley, Frey, Felder, Walsh). Otherwise, just doesn't seem like the real thing to me, even if it'll be tight and technically

QuoteMarylou59 I plan to attend the Tampa concert, is there any risk of a hurricane at this time of the year ? Yes. I was born in Tampa and lived there until I was 20. Anytime between May and October is a risk for hurricane. Consider what New Orleans got last year and that was just a few days later in July. That could have easily shifted east towards Tampa instead.

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteJah Paul QuoteRollingFreak In the end, we all know what the real Eagles band was. It was never a rotating cast. It was 4 guys, which became 5 and 6 when they added Don and replaced Bernie. Thats really it. Not sure how we've started pushing the idea they're the Grateful Dead or Fleetwood Mac or something. Thats a falsehood, if we're trying to bring facts into

Assuming this applies to concerts, I have read that Mercedes-Benz Stadium offers "street pricing" for beer and food and refillable soft drinks. For example, they have a Chick Fil'A in there and it is supposedly the same price as any regular location.
