I've also seen Alice Cooper for a couple of times since 2005. I think he's fantastic but his band isn't. They´re good but they sound like a cover band who doesn't quite get it. Compare these and you will know what I mean. (1975) (2017)

QuoteBashlets Bought Rio but haven’t watched it. The sound from just streaming it was atrocious as well as Miami 1994. I did buy the Japanese version for Salt Lake City show and probably watched 2 or 3 songs from that. I still find it hard to believe that they didn’t film more of the 1975 shows from LA or NYC. Is the japanese version of Salt Lake City the same as the us/eu version?

QuoteMAF QuoteOriongalaxy Hi MadMax, Thanks for the recommendations! We are going to Stockholm for the first time too. Any interesting place for local (Swedish) dishes? We are budget travellers so I'm afraid I might land in some 'tourist' spot... Anyways thanks a lot! Where do you stay? Already booked? There must be some nice records shops. I remember one in 2017, I think

Quoteschillid Quotebeachbreak BTMMR the key was a bit too high for Keith to hit some of the notes but still sounded good! Maybe drop it down a half pitch? Open G-flat ? It would work. He used a tele which was tuned in open g-flat for "Doom and Gloom" when they played it live.

A guitarist or a basplayer can just tune their instrument in the same pitch as the video but not if you play the piano..

QuoteGasLightStreet Quotetreaclefingers QuoteDoxa Quotematxil Very good version Indeed. Could be even the best live version of "Start Me Up" I ever have heard. Generally, I think when they opened the shows with it during 1989/90 tours they put so much effort, thought and concentration into it that it really worked well, and I see that as an expection in the history of "Start Me

The only song that will sound good is Wild Horses with Keith on the 10-string, Keith can't play "Play with fire" and "Sweet Virginia" properly anymore. And Ronnie can't play the solo on "Worried about you".

QuoteTeddyB1018 Beast of Burden for one. Great solo. It's ok, its more like some great licks that fits the song, not a solo like the one on "Worried About You" or "Dead Flowers". Same with the "Start me up" solo he does live, it's more like a theme that follows the chords than a great solo. QuoteStonedRambler QuoteIsakSun He couldn't have come

He couldn't have come up with the same great ideas, when he was playing the songs live he was copying what they(Perkins and Mandel) already had recorded on the album. Ronnie hasn't come up with one great solo on a record worth to remember.

QuoteRocktiludrop Quoteretired_dog QuoteRocktiludrop QuoteStoneage Perhaps, Björn. The real downhill started in 2006 I guess. Up until that he still kept it up pretty good. I still think the 1968 to 1972 era was his best though. As it was for the band itself. Totally agree, in 2003 he was still a force of nature, what happened between 2003 to 2005 is anyone's guess, we know the head injury

QuoteAllAboutYours Yeah, who’s that playing the intro? Doesn’t sound Keith at all. Sounds like the original version a bit more, but you can hear that it is Keiths guitar sound.

Keith played much better on A Bigger Bang tour, his playing has become stiff and his solos are quite bad. It's sounds like he don't have a plan, he should stick to rythm and licks when playing live.
