same in scotland. minimum price on alcohol and sugar tax all in the last 18 months. governments dont think things through, it hurts peoples businesses.

i get my sugar consumption from alcohol thanks to the scottish government they set a minimum price, which nearly doubles my weekend carry out. thanks nicola, and thanks for giving us the choice on what we do with our health. so concerned about our health in scotland they are unless its knife crime, theyve done nought about that for decades. its ok to get stabbed to death but not ok to

JUst read an article on the late Gary Holton, for those that dont know, he played cockney wayne in aufweidersehen pet in britain from 1983 to 1985 when he died of a drugs overdose at the age of 33. But he was also in a band called the heavy metal kids from 1972 to 1985 on and off, he was in another band with a friend from norway and lived for a while in trondhiem, and was also fronting the dam

pukki wasnt that good at celtic to my disapiontment but hes doing well now. congrats finland, but as usual scotland are not there unless they win a play off through the new league system. the new system of qualifying is a bit of a farce though as teams can enter play off despite only winning the bottom tier league while teams in a higher league can get knocked out and not make play off.

stones have a bunch of finished unreleased tracks as most agree. they have great instrumental tracks of various songs and they have quite a few alternate tracks of well known songs all on youtube and yet folk are moaning and comparing them unfavourably with the beatles and dylan stones if they wanted to could easily release alternate outtakes of a whole lot of stuff that would easi

there seems to be plenty of different mixes on youtube of various songs, most different from the studio recording on the album and instrumentals to which give some songs a different perspective. some of the songs ive heard with different mixes or instrumentals are jj flash little t and a slave ruby tuesday citadel complicated if you cant rock me and several outtakes of unreleased

we have had some stuff released via the exile and some girls deluxe packages, but theres far more. stuff like blood red wine are perfect for release and they have a lot like this but they dont seem interested. was wondering if an unfinished song that wasnt released during the abkco era would be owned by them or could the band work on the outtake and release it as their own

so 1,500 streams count as 1 album sale. obviously the survey is wrong then as it gave the numbers for streams not album sales and then compared to older artists album sales. so it didnt convert to one form or another. it also proves there is no definitive way to compare actual total sales from one era to another. for this survey to be taken seriously they would need to need to convert to

artists sales can never be compared in different eras. steaming music and buying physical vinyl are 2 different things. an example is 1 stream counts as 1 sale , and 2 streams count as 2 sales but if you bought a record in the 70,s once and it counted as 1 sale you can listen to it 300 times and its not going to count as 300 sales. i cant believe someone like drake can set these reco

also there are some who claim a round of golf gets more demanding as you get older cos the fitness levels needed are not there any more. one in particular uses it constantly as an excuse for failure makes the stones achievements in the last 30 years even more remarkable. maybe they should take up golf when they retire.

mike peters did join big country, but left due to alarm commitments. big country have only 2 original members left. i liked the alarm, great band, but i dont believe the 80,s was all bad as some suggest. i think music declined mid 80,s though, early 80,s were great, so much variety and original music. i agree that big country declined after about 3 albums and nothing came remotely close

I came across some big country songs on youtube last night, hadnt seen them for years, i sort of forgot about big country. amazing band, the album the crossing is often regarded as the best debut album ever, They were a band that were highly regarded by those that saw them live and listened to them and many people think they were underestimated and never got the credit they deserved. I never s

a bigger bang wasnt the only thing from 1997. we had 4 songs in 2002, and weve been drip fed songs through the last 3 decades that didnt appear on albums officially. stones had the material to release 4 albums in the 90,s and 3 each in the last 2 decades. that they didnt, dosent mean they never had the songs ready, theyve already been released in other forms. so saying they only done

album too long and too much filler, but if it was shorter we would moan about the outtakes being released. so maybe this album is a good advert for not releasing outtakes. if it was shortened it does contain some good stuff, its not a peak album like beggars or sticky but my tracklist would be. 1, rough justice 2. biggest mistake 3. o no not you again 4. rainfall down 5. this place

the rolling stones have always been about more than just the audio, its the visuals too that combined with audio produce those great rolling stones moments. Mick is the frontman and his stage antics have always been a big part of the band watching the recent tours, i still think he is amazing onstage, his timing, the way he brings others into the performance, hope he can keep doing what he

its subjective, the lennon v jagger debate is pointless, both have great but different voices that either fit or dont fit on various songs. same can be said of almost anyone. the survey suggests that it is a popularity comp as most are.
