About 20 years ago, I was working the Toronto Jazz Fest and Lucky was on the bill that day. They had some problems at the border and rolled in about 3 hours late. He and his band were jammed inside a van, and looked like the most road weary, tired souls, I think I ever did see. A half hour or so later, after stinking up their dressing room with a whole bunch of wacky tabacky, they proceeded to t

After all these years, I'm still blown away how great a song Beast of Burden is. I've turned a lotta folks into Stones freaks, with that number.

Awesome stuff Mel! Looking forward to seeing more. Your assessment of Dirty Work was perfect. Theres some great tunes on there, but the drum sound just takes all that beautiful loosey goosey tighty whitey swingy thing and chucks it in the rubbish bin. Tell your kids they're doing a great job...Substantial Damage what a tune!

QuoteDeltics QuoteSomeTorontoGirl Sir Elvis! Awesome. I'm afraid not. OBE stands for the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire. For him to be entitled to call himself "Sir" he would have to be awarded a KBE (Knight Commander of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire). I'd still call him Sir. The man is an absolute genius.

Quotebye bye johnny Chris Pizzello/APThe Riff Master has returned! Its a shame these tours are so short. Stones have always been a band that takes a little bit to warm up. I get it tho, Charlie prolly can't wait to get back home. He's never loved life on the road. 78 and still swingin' on those drums all night...He puts us all to shame.

Quotebobo QuoteCamRS This was my second show of the tour (the other being Landover) and my first Lucky Dip experience, and I was not disappointed. My wife and I ended up in section 111a, which is the side view, but we actually had a great view. Loved the setlist, probably my favorite one from the five times I’ve seen them. My wife is not a huge Stones fan, but She’s a Rainbow, Sweet Virgin

Quotevirgil QuoteTornAndFried Quotecaschimann QuoteTornAndFried Down to 19 songs. Would it kill them to add a third acoustic song on the small stage? That acoustic set is already too short and it's placement in the show feels odd. Would it kill them? Would it kill you to get from 75+ men ONE song less? Which means for them to save energy. How old are you? May be 75 and still performing

QuoteWinning Ugly VXII Quotejumpontopofmebaby Quotemuncy23 Quotejumpontopofmebaby Still can’t belive 19 songs. That’s the reward you get for rescheduling your travel plans staying an extra day. Sitting out a hurricane etc. This show should of had extra songs. This was a slap in the face period. It depends, if they still played the same length of the other shows, maybe they jammed out the late
