QuoteCMH516 - Funny seeing young Marlon in the one scene during Neighbors that Ronnie shows up late. He was almost like a head roadie at, what, 14? . Never noticed that before. Is he in the dressing room when Ronnie is being made up?

QuoteThe Worst. But I have mixed feelings as I was surrounded by loud and drunk people in tier 3 most of the time. I know it is inevitable at these big outdoor shows when people wait and drink for hours, but is still so annoying. Why pay £100 to attend a concert but don't listen to the music? I will never understand that. It was difficult to pay attention to the ballads (Ruby and Silv

It looks like Bill's been cut out of that Hyde Park '69 t-shirt. 3rd picture down, 2nd t-shirt in. Unless he's at the end of the line up and someone's just folded it very nicely.

Great post, always wondered the same myself. Everytime I go there I try to imagine where the stage was in '69. I knew it was different to now though.

They had a Stones 70's special last year. Obviously for me as a fan i love it, but I can't get over the fact how Mojo can get away with re-hashing old stories and photo's and dressing it up with a new spin. For new fans discovering the band it must be wonderful though

I used to really like Bill, I read Stone Alone & thought what a great guy. He always used to come across great in interviews when talking about how he left the band and he'd say how they kindly kept his space open to return if he changed his mind. But ever since the Stones in Exile film in 2010 all he seems to have done is moan and come accross as really bitter. A recent intervi

Yeah that's on the Rewind Video you didn't imagine it. They're all sat of a sofa looking pretty cool. When asked why the album was called Some Girls, Keith joked 'Because we forgot all their f*ckin names'

Got a ticket for the 13th, my first Rolling Stones show. Going on my own as could only afford one Hopefully after a few drinks I'll make some new friends I've decided I'm not going to listen to any of the war horses between now and the gig, so that it all sounds fresh. I've over done it on the dvds & Youtube videos slightly.

QuoteI was in London. I heard him play. Didn't notice an improvement. Sorry just not big on ass kissing. I don't consider it punishment to hear a Stones concert without him. Well said. You can hardly ever hear him anyway. The casual fans that made up the majority of people who went the o2 shows only ever think of SympathyFTD when they think of classic Stones bass. Little do they kn

Wow. What utter cheese, you just know it's their media management company scripting all that. Don't see the point myself, it's going to sell out regardless, they're living legends. Have a bit of mistique, instead of looking stupid.

This seems to have done him more harm than good. I have a lot of respect for him leaving the band when he did. He went out on his own high & did it his way. Playing with them as a guest for a couple of shows was pointless, if he was going to do that he might as well have never left in the first place & then he'd of been included in all the mega dosh from the tours since.

Quotestupidguy2 Very cool story ROPENI,,,, I don't care how many fashion spreads the others get, Marlon and Jade are the Stones kids to me. The younger ones are like a Disney version of the real thing. They were there in the crazy years - the height of the Stones fame and notoriety,.. and, apparently, managed to carve out productive lives. I remember reading a Crawdaddy article from 76

It makes me cringe seeing Ronnie with all those crap indie bands. I supose he's just having a good time, lapping up the compliments and humouring them, probably hasn't a clue who they are. Thank God the other 3 kept away.

There is something like a screen near the windows. 1992 is too far for this kind of technology. Probably one of those portable pocket TV's they brought with them. Keith looks to old for it to be much earlier than '92. Plus there's a date stamp on it, i know that could be wrong but it's unlikely to be.
