"A mother is kicked off a delayed flight because her infant child refuses to stop talking and/or making noise - this stresses out one flight attendant to the point where she kicks the 2 off the plane....(flight attendant still has her job, they seem to have a lot of power these days) " Did you see how that brat acted when they tried to interview the breeder on Good Morning America? I had some fun this tour but didn't really feel anything. When the US Licks Tour ended they were still somewhat exciting but I just kept going to all kinds of gigs immedietly after, went to like 60 total that year. If you live in a major city there is always great entertainment to be had. If you are the type who only listen to one band, then you are probably more into image then music so in

It was alright. Got my $22.50 worth at least. The guy behind me was yelling "Sing It Right!" People getting disappointed because they aren't getting what they thought they paid for can be more entertaining than the show itself! I was glad they dropped 2 songs because I took public transportation home and if they did 2 more I might not have made my connection and would have got h

I tend to play it by ear and make up my mind on or around the day of the show. Tegan And Sara at Amoeba Music. Sgt Pepper 40th Anniversary at the Hollywood Bowl (with Cheap Trick as the house band) Throwrag/Flash Express/The Hitchhikers but it's all day, $25 and in an odd location so maybe not. Joan Jett & The Blackhearts at Alhambra Jubilee (FREE) Heaven And Hell/Alice Co

Either going to the family homestead this weekend and soaking up the air conditioning or perhaps some free gigs. I will make up my mind Friday or when I get around to looking at the gig calender. Tegan And Sara live at Amoeba Music and the new CD. In September - Rammstein domestic DVD release, Ramones DVD and Hanoi Rocks new CD which I will have to buy on import. I think something else is c

Testament, Slayer, Megadeth etc. Saw Slayer at Ozzfest '04 and it was awesome. Bought a Testament greatest hits CD i saw for cheap and listened to it pretty constantly

Jeezus if you don't like Sympathy, JJF and Brown Sugar then you shouldn't even be at a Stones show. If you are sick of hearing them over and over, then don't go to so many shows, just go to one like most people. If you are getting tired of reading them on the board day after day - GET A LIFE.

Genesis was the very first act on at Wembley and they had a gig in Manchester later the same night. Not sure if they would be any more or less boring in any other situation though.

It's amazing how huge the Foo Fighters are in ENgland. I saw them on their first tour at the Palace opening for Mike Watt and they were just okay. I used to love Smashing PUmpkins but couldn't get into it, probably because of the conspicuous absense of James and Darcy. I am at my mom's for the weekend and they were off at a wedding so I was totally blasting it all day while spen

A few weeks into the tour, not counting Live Earth, it's at over half a million for 21 shows. 18 more this leg with 1, possibly 2 legs to follow. I think they can sell 2 million if they haven't already though I think the hype has died down a bit.

I don't think the current setlists (going back to 2003) are because they are interested in revisiting their thrash roots so much as because in 2003, their collective back catalog outsold St Anger 2:1, officially designating them as a nostalgia act.

So far Beastie Boys my favorite musically and Shakira visually. I am visiting my mom's and have the place all to myself so I have it blasting at near concert volume.

In the U.S. at least when the Police tour ends in the Fall (or next year) I wouldn't be surprised if they sell more units (tickets) than the Stones. They sold 90,000 here in LA in the same week which I don't think any band has pulled off in about ten years.

I am at the family homestead with cable TV this weekend. Turned it on to Sundance last night where it already started in Sydney and promptly fell asleep. I woke up to Shakira. Felt the Greenhouse Effect in my shorts watching that. Genesis was okay. I bet they are on a planet thrashing private jet to Manchester after selflessly doing their part to save the rest of us. Snoop was pretty good

The first 4 albums are some of the greatest music ever laid down in all of human history. From the Black Album forward, not so good. At least they have a decent setlist this tour so it should be a good show.
