Whenever has U2 done songs in quality like Led Zeps: Rock'n Roll, Stairway or Since I've Been Loving You. U2 is not in that class at all - admit it. So, don't compare or mention U2 in the top class of the music. They don't belong in the top league.

The relevance of U2 in the world today is because of Bono's political activity - not because of their music. Their music is on average basis - not bad, neither anything special. Most of it is easy going music - nothing groundbreaking, neither in the beginning. Stones brought the blues to Europe and made people aware of that music - shall not claim they were the very first, but they were t

Quotetatters Quotealimente Did anybody know that Michael Jackson was wearing a wig before he died? When he had his mug shot taken, there was some speculation that we might see a photo of a bald Michael Jackson; that they would make him take the wig off for the photo, but in the end, they let him wear it. The doctors who examined his body after he died said that he had no hair on his head, and

QuoteManofwealthandtaste I think we KNOW what Dad will say, Georgia: Mick Jagger's other daughter poses topless for major photoshoot By Simon Cable Last updated at 7:44 AM on 24th July 2009 So it's a fair bet that Sir Mick Jagger will be equally unimpressed with the efforts of Lizzie's younger sister, Georgia May. The 17-year-old has posed topless in her first major photo

Just wondering how much Mark Fisher is in involved in the stage design and how much is decided by the band. He must be the most used and respected stage builder the last 10-20 years. Quotefive_strings_G not really, for example 5 times germany is not exactly the same as 2 time (2 time not sold out btw) but even if, it's not about money. but if the stones would play just one city per country they would also sell out two shows easily ... In 1995 Stones sold out 5 times in Amsterdam - U2 haven't sold out 2 conserts. Take that. Stones were huge in 1995 - that

Just like to know how you can book an 93,000 audience in a Stadium where the maximum authorised by the State Dpt is 80,000. 80,000 yes, for football or rugby. But 93,000 is for all the seats (it's a 360° show) and the people on the field. 30,000 more people than the Stones/2006 an

If MJ hadn't died, he would have received 1% as well. Elvis is understandable - he was the first big R'R star. Beatles also - people like their ballads. Stones don't promote themself, so it is their own problem being forgotten.

Most of the songs U2 plays nowadays are ballads / easygoing music. Then it is easy to create a happy and joyful atmosphere in a stadium with lots of people. Most people prefer ballads and easygoing music, that's why groups like Robbie Williams, Britney Spears, Spice Girls etc. sell out their shows Stones is rock and blues and hasn't turned in to a ballad band - thanx god for that

Here you see THE difference between Mick Jagger and Bono or McCartney/Lennon. Mick is blues - brought the blues to Europe. If Bono or McCartney/Lennon sing ballads / love songs or whatever - who cares when you love the blues - Bono or McCartney/Lennon have nothing to do with blues. I know what I prefer - THE BLUES - even if it sells less CDs - who cares.
