QuoteDGA35 I guess if there's a promotor willing to take on the tour and an insurance company willing to insure the band. There will be. Someone has underwritten Crowded Houses mammoth NZ Tour, they are playing everywhere. And special exemptions can be used if is a major economic benefit, just ask James Cameron and the Avatar people. When Queen went to OZ and NZ last year they took off

If you ever want to sell it, let me know. I've had a couple of Rollers, very sweet cars. I'm always interested in unique memorabilia. If the Wyman Bass wasn't returned to him I was definitely going to buy it, it'd had been a local legend for a long time. I'm angling for some Phil Rudd stuff lately, i'm very keen on a kit, he's got a tonne of them. He knows t

Nice Roller, tasty proportions big T&A. You'll have to get Ronnie to personalize it further for you, as a suggestion the brushed copper will hold paint, and there's always the trunk/boot, where I would recommend you stage your associated collection and go to Car Shows, people will love to see it and Stones fans, often at Car Shows, will go Banana's for. But Congratulations o

I got Bobby Keys in 1995 at their hotel, we had coffee together at the cafe inside the place. What a great guy, I got to spend 25 minutes with a Legend and he was just awesome. It's Signed "Bobby Keys The Rolling Stones 1995", if only phone camera's were around. But an absolute pleasure to meet, we talked about Buddy Holly and being a 24 yr old guy I was stretching at the

I'll say one thing this thing is now starving people in the 3rd World, after what I saw in Bangladesh this is horrific, factories staffed by very poor people shut, no ability to pay rent, buy food, heading home to their villages to try and grow food

As described above this tour set the template for Steel Wheels, as a punter who attended a few days short of his 18th Birthday, I loved it, I thought as others, that we may never see The Stones Down Under again, so i'm coming down on the side of "This is what i'll do without you, unless we get our shit sorted" angle, as Jagger could have been doing this Solo for the last 32 ye

And it's good to see Phil Rudd looking well, he's not Meth Skinny anymore like he had gotten a few years ago. I went to his Bar/Restaurant a few years ago, and to see his "Back In Black" Drum Kit, Grammy Award and Rock N Roll Hall Of Fame Award in the bar was quite the treat, I'd never seen a Grammy Award up close and I was taken by it, I think it's primo looking

I'm just staggered, shocked and saddened. He was the reason i grabbed a tennis racquet and stood in front of the family stereo and pretended to play eruption for hours on end. When my friend Suhnton (pronounced Sin Tonne) played his version too me I freaked out, I couldn't believe that he learned Eruption.. So many good times especially in Summer were soundtracked by VH, 5150 in t

Quotejbwelda Well then sKILLs, now I have heard everything, once again. Here I thought KISS was strictly for thirteen year old girls, or maybe basement dwelling Kabuki enthusiasts. And you know, your little attempt at character assassination kind of fits that stereotype too. So thanks for the confirmation. It doesn't take much "rock and roll credentials" (thats hilarious in and

Quotejbwelda Paul Stanley? You mean KISS? Jesus Christ, now I have heard everything. Of course KISS does it, they got no talent beyond long disgusting tongues, and that only takes one so far. Next jb Yep KISS, What are your Rock n' Roll of Fame credentials, have you sold 100m albums, had more Gold records than any other band. You don't have to like a Band, but I find

Quoteryanpow They've always had outside song writers, they just don't give them credit. Looking back at the producers, especially Jimmy Miller, his influence was huge, and their "borrowing" from history, I guess in some ways they have always cherry picked bits and pieces from here and there. I was watching "Still Crazy" the other night and the tracks that Mick

A mate of mine proposed this a long time ago, he reckons they should put out a call for songwriters too submit their best "Rolling Stones" Songs. I know plenty of songwriters who will write in another's style in a hope for them to maybe record it... Example : Paul Stanley writing "Forever" and especially "Hard Lick Woman" in Rod Stewart's style. No

Interesting the small edits they have made to the footage, running Mixed Emotions original alongside the new release, they have utilized different angles only slightly but it does slightly distract me at the moment, i'll no doubt get used to it as it's so sharp and crisp. Can't wait to get the BR

Speaking of the I-Max print, the Blu Ray that came out a few years ago has a remarkable picture, and is the only way to view the full widescreen I believe, unless I missed a DVD release apart from the existing 4:3 DVD which misses half the picture. When I updated to a 4K 65' it was one of the first titles I played and it was amazing
