Brexit is one factor amongst a number of others (summarised e.g. in Nate’s post above; also £1.7bn of debt didn’t help). The Brexit-related devaluation/volatility of Sterling is likely to have accelerated Thomas Cook’s demise though, but who knows whether this wouldn’t have happened at a later stage anyway. From an economic perspective, IMHO Brexit is a massive gamble which may or may not pay
