A mate of mine who lives in St. Albans, north of London has a large collection of Stones magazines from the 70s onwards plus t-shirts, posters that he wants to get rid of for free. Anyone interested would need to collect them.

QuoteLien Tickets I guess this answers the question if the Stones will be playing this summer. I don't think he'd be doing a show, which will involve rehearsals, if his other band was touring.

Not having a ticket for the 2nd of the 2 London 02 shows until 5.30pm on the night. I checked back at the 02 online box office and was offered front of row A in the stalls. I pinched myself and drove the 15 miles to the station so slowly in case of getting into an accident. I got to my seat and two rows behind me was Marlon Richards and his wife. These things only happen once in a lifetime if you

I went to a preview of the auction in London a few weeks ago. It was amazing to see those guitar5s of Brian's and some of the clothes from the 60s. Apologies for the size of the photo. Not sure how to reduce the size.

Nice work wired. The Midnight Ramblers In The Midnight Hour is my recording. I was totally knackered by the time they came on as I'd be out in the field for 26 hours by the time they came on. I'd spent the night outside the ground but didn't get much sleep. Heh heh. I missed a few tracks but the patch is good. I was stood slightly to the right and picked up a very Keith heav

In the 18 years (!) since this remark I have learned Taylor's solo is loosely based on Santana's 'Song of the Wind' track from the 1972 album Caravanserai'. Mathijs P

QuoteValeswood Fantastic show at the London Palladium last night. His band were stellar, particularly the two interchangeable guitarists/drummers (one even played the sax). Graham's voice was spot on and the harmonies were as close to CSN as you can get. The final song Suite: Judy Blue Eyes was outstanding as was the young guitar player who handled the Stephen Stills parts. Absolutely ag

Stunning singer and songwriter too. Todd Rundgren adored her and you can really pick up that he learned a lot from her singing style, especially in the early 70s.

Back Street Girl is easily in my Top 5. To me it's great. And the version you did is so good that I actually thought it was an outtake. I tried to find it

While my favourite ever song is (I Can't Get No) Satisfaction, the album I have gone to more than any other for extreme feelings of joy, sadness, worry, euphoria has been Exile On Main Street. The album is almost like a physical form for me - like a best friend that I can summon at will to help me express all those emotions listed a
