The Mobile Studio Limited as indicated on the Black And Blue inner sleeve in: 17, Berners Street, W1P 3DD. In 1987, I was there and on the goround floor was a barber's shop. The owner told me that I wasn't the only one looking for what had happened to the place then. Then, the company already had moved to Munro Terrace where I went too. And guess what; I found it out by looking in the

QuoteDiamondDog7 Jeff Beck was a huge John McLaughlin fan! He admired him and was truly inspired by him. John's playing is a little bit different today than in the 1970s. Less frantic and loud unfortunately. But he's still a god to me! His performance was awesome! Very easy defintion to identify a rock guitarist from a jazz guitarist: Look how they hold their axes... There is nothing more boring than a greatest hits medley (11 songs in thirteen minutes?!) plus a hundred synchronous dancers. That's what Las Vegas shows are about. Thank (fill in the gap) that 'our' Vegas shows are far from that.

Quotestargroover Merchandise dips down in quality every tour. Steel Wheels leather jackets and even the Voodoo Lounge leather jackets were quality Regarding quality (I know you mean another sort of 'quality'), I was very surprised to read that my t-shirt (new tongue design) was manufactured in the UK - and not in Honduras, Bangla Desh as those of former tours.

Quotea bigger nut Madrid, Munich, Liverpool, Amsterdam City artwork t-shirts were not sold at each venue at all ? Ridiculous. I (and my two daughters - first time attending!) was disappointed, too. The only event t-shirt type offered in Munich was a Stones tongue in German colours with the date on it. Nothing in comparison to the litho with the stars tongue and the iconic stadium roof. Btw,

Some silly facts about the film: Georgia Jagger was conceived during filming in the month of May. Anthony Hopkins said he had nothing to do at the time and always wanted to meet Mick Jagger (though both being English they had not met before). The race scenes were done at "Road Atlanta" circuit (Baselton/Georgia) though the race is titled something like Grand Prix of New York.

Start very early if you're coming from the South via motorway A 45. Mind that a bridge near Luedenscheid is gone! Though this seems to be a 'gap' of only a few kilometers long distance traffic is recommended to head for Cologne already at Kreuz Olpe. But that means lots of additional fuel (and time, too)... But detours around Luedenscheid must be terrible during daytime on a work

Regarding the Who, I once wrote on a fan board that I wondered how Keith Moon would be worth something like 20 or 30 million Dollars (I don't remember the exact figure) as he was dead for 30 years and hereby missed the big "Last" tours. The Who rarely released records with old Moonie material after his death, don't think they have that much air play too. So how come, his esta

For decades they played Duesseldorf and Cologne in the West of Germany. Gelsenkirchen: They played the old Parkstadion in 1990 with Die Toten Hosen as opener. Quotebv Just to explain the power of the Stones when it comes to selling tickets... During the European Tour in 1995, 27 years ago, they played Aug 19 in front of 90,000 fans in Hochenheim Germany. Three days later, on Aug 22, they played in front of 78,000 fans in Mannheim Germany. It is a 25 minutes drive between these two places, just 25 km i.e. 15 miles. They sold out all their shows l

Goat's Head Soup only had three new songs. That's not much and maybe some/many thought that's not enough to buy a box. All other reissues have almost long player time alternatives! If they had added some off the Jamaica recordings that went into Tattoo You Deluxe GHS would have had more value.
