OK, so Midnight Rambler WAS rehearsed. I know that nothing has 100% consensus, especially here, but it's always a highlight of the show for me. I really hope they keep it in when they actually get on stage (or at least when they play in Santa Clara - and now you know which show I'll be going to!).

Bjornulf, All I can do is add my thanks. Wow. What a journey it has been for you. And it continues, of course. You've built an amazing community of avid fans. We've all benefited from inside info, especially as it pertains to getting tickets. Where else would I have discovered Periscope (remember that?) and eventually livestreams of shows. And real time setlists updates for those wh

I'll start at the end and say no way. But my daughter keeps hearing rumors of it. She's pretty connected in the Coachella world, but not in Stonesland. She got wind of some of last year's surprises ahead of time. But I keep telling her no way. The Stones are not playing Coachella. Not after the Desert Trip when Jagger lost his voice in the dry desert air. I finally made a b

Quotesyrel Quotevibrolux Got it. Back to my original question, do you know how long after 10AM local the LD links showed up for other shows? About 10 mins **before** syrel Thanks again! Got LA and Santa Clara quick and easy. Now all I need is for the dice to roll right for me! (I've always had semi decent lower bowls. Never nose bleeds, never pit.)

Quotesyrel Quotevibrolux Quotesyrel There are no LDs in Denver Do you know why? In the LD thread, I hazarded a guess that it is something to do with local lottery laws, like Buffalo 2015, but I don't actually know. syrel Got it. Back to my original question, do you know how long after 10AM local the LD links showed up for other shows?

Obviously, we've got several well connected people here. So I was hoping that we'd get some insight into pricing (pit, back G/A, etc.) So does anyone have any info on this?

Good morning everyone! (At least it's morning here in California) As the guy who started the Sphere residency thread, I'm enjoying all the discussion about what could possibly happen. To Bjornulf's point, we all know that nothing is signed and no shows are scheduled. And if he says that they won't announce shows for a long time, that's almost certainly going to be

I doubt they stay in Vegas. They do their show, hop their plane to L.A. and fly back in on show days. It's a very short flight and even more easy on a private jet.

U2 is working out all the bugs now and they play shows there 'till the end of this year. The place holds 18,600. Adele plays 2 nights a week at the Colesseum at Caesar's Palace. The place is dark 5 nights a week. The Sphere could do 2 Stones shows a week. The boys would likely do a trim 90 minute show. (C'mon, give 'em a break. They aren't 30 any more. Or 40, or 50

Just got off a plane and missed it live, so I'm catching up. Just now watched the Fallon thing. How did they pick the audience? Sure didn't seem like a roomful of diehard fans. Fallon had to encourage the audience to applaud. Then the guys walk out and most of the audience just sits there and claps politely. I'd have been up on my feet when the guys walked out.

Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I'm guessing that the space between Mick and Keith in their promo pic is an homage to Charlie.

Saw the show in Sacramento. I totally get the what he's trying to do with the combination of live performance and visual presentation. I had great seats at "the 40 yard line" 10 rows up in the lower bowl. Once they lifted the screen, I had a great view of the stage. This is not a Rolling Stones show where you get some variations in the set list. It's the same exact set list, e

Quotegeorgie48 Quotevibrolux I guess I'll jump in here... Obviously, they don't need the money. Promoters are greedy bastards but that's not this thread so there are only 2 litmus tests: 1) Do they enjoy getting out and playing every 4 nights to a stadium full of adoring fans. Apparently yes. 2) Are there plenty of people who enjoy going to these shows. Apparently yes.

Quotecaschimann One of the best posts here since many years. (Wanted to write this point for long. Now you did it simply great.) Thank you. I remember being at a show a few years ago. I knew the next song was Brown Sugar. The lyrics may not be 2022-worthy, but it's a near perfect rock and roll tune. Out comes Keith to start it and he totally muffs the intro. I was really disappointed

I originally posted some of this late in the Amsterdam show thread, but for those who didn't see it: "Keith made some terrible mistakes tonight." "Ronnie was off tonight." "Mick just wasn't himself tonight." Sound familiar? OK... For all those pointing out all the mistakes and miscues. A few points... Keith and Ronnie are well past their prime

Keith plays several Telecasters. Some of them have the traditional single coil in the neck position. Others have a humbucker as the neck pickup. In looking at all the pictures posted over the last several years, he seems to always use the bridge pickup on his Teles. Have any of my fellow guitar nerds noticed any songs on which he uses the neck pickup on his Teles?

OK... For all those pointing out all the mistakes and miscues. A few points... Keith and Ronnie are well past their prime. I know it. You know it. And they know it. Ronnie isn't Mick Taylor and he isn't even Ronnie in his prime. Keith's mess ups are right there for all to see. They both play very prominent parts so their mistakes are not going to get covered up very well. So

Stray Cat Blues would be fantastic, but it's just a bit weird to have Mick singing about getting with girls that may be younger than his grandkids. On the more realistic front, it's hard to imagine them not playing: JJ Flash Rambler Gimme Shelter Tumbling Dice Miss You (sorry to those who hate this one, but it's been a staple for a while) Satisfaction Start Me Up Symp

In 2015, they played "Kansas City" in... (wait for it)... Kansas City. They made a big deal about how this was the first song on their set list at the very beginning in the early 60s.

QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack So… ronnie of keith side? Let's see... Bjornulf always goes for Ronnie's side. That should tell you something. Other factors: Singers on Ronnie's side, horns on Keith's. Chuck on Ronnie's side, Darryl on Keith's. Big camera boom on Ronnie's side, none on Keith's. To me, the bigger factor is where in the pit. Right on the catwal
