QuoteBig Al QuotePaddy QuoteBig Al A bit of a joke, really. This year’s festival had been an absolute disgrace. It always is, yet it’s excelled itself this year. Which years have you attended? I was a bit OTT, there. It’s not my cup of tea, that’s all. If you ‘love Glasto’ and the BBC, that’s perfectly fine. Nah I was just wondering if you had gone in years previous, for me the peak of fes

Quotegotdablouse QuotePaddy I still bought the albums but never saw them on the tours after 96, I do regret that as they were still a great live band into the 2000s. I did see Travis back then though and they were indeed great. It was really cool to see Liam & Bonehead after 20 odd years when Liam opened for the Stones in 2018. Bonehead was essential as a fan back in the day, he was the eve

QuoteMunichhilton QuotePaddy QuoteBig Al QuotePaddy Columbia from DM will definitely get played. I don’t know, Paddy. There’s so many choices, but I really think they’ll play it ‘safe’ by performing the absolute ‘musts’ and the bulk of their hit-singles, barring a few: She is Love; Songbird; Shock of The Lightning, etc. Are you going to a show? Dublin, Toronto? I’m not sure where I read o

Why would anyone complain about a new album they haven’t heard. I’m happy with the news they’re back in the studio and we have a possible new release this year. Hackney Diamonds had a few really nice surprises on there and I’ll hope to be surprised again. They’re the band we’re the fans.

QuoteBig Al I had forgotten about Lyla. It's a bit of a 'plodder', but can imagine it being performed. Yeah, I'm not going either, Paddy. As much as I know I'd enjoy the performance, I'm unsure if I could hack the GA; as I know I'd want to be 'amongst it', and not in the stands. It was great 2008, but now? It's fine at a Stones show, but the Oa

Quotemosthigh $250 - $475 cad for rear floor seats in Vancouver. Hard pass. I'll wait for the fire sale. Head for the rafters with us poor gig rats who spend all our spare cash on gigs! (I have 6 other shows in Sept)

I picked up 2 tickets this morning for the Van City show for $97 each. It’s in the rafters but it’ll do me, I’ve seen the Who front row in 2007, as long as I’m in the venue and can hear the band I don’t really care where I am.

It was fantastic Paddy, thanks for asking! BTW, the city specific tour shirts are available to order on their website. Our merch lines were massive too, the Vancouver shirt looks very cool if you still want to buy one. Rarified ai

QuoteMilan "A lot of AC/DC fans drive pick up trucks and there's probably not much streaming or satellite radio going on with them." - ha, ha... ouch! Yeah…. Says something about someone but I’m not sure it’s says something about the someone it was meant to.

QuoteBig Al QuoteGasLightStreet Anyone watch Rick Beato? He's on it. There's the big 4 in the 1990s - Nirvana, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam and Stone Temple Pilots. All of them have fantastic songs. There's, to me, an obvious connection to The Beatles with Nirvana and Soundgarden, melodically, that's magnificent. Song crafting. Neither sound the same at all but it&

Couldn't hear a word Brian was singing. My brother couldn't even tell what song was being played until it was almost over. I was in section 403 in the rafters but there was a sound tower pointed dire

Quotekeefmick I got caught up in the thrill of the hunt as I do each year and buy stuff I don’t really need. This year I got the Keith live and Ramones live and Judas Priest live. I guess it was a “live” year for me. For those who don’t know, and I didn’t, there is an official RSD marketplace for items that didn’t sell out. It’s actually quite good. I think it’s rsdmrkt.com. As of now they still

Quoteumakmehrd Never seen them live I'm looking forward to tomorrow night ! Hopefully they play all their hits >< You’ll have a ball, I’ve never seen a bad AC/DC gig. I just wonder how the sound in BC place will be, it’s hit and miss depending on the band.
