QuoteEddieByword I hardly ever listen to studio albums anymore - except GHS and then it's mixed with the bonus stuff. And I listen to bonus stuff off Exile, Some girls and Tattoo you. I always seem to end up playing live shows from all across the years.......Oh, and compilations of non album singles - remixes etc. My top 5 though, are... GHS Black and blue Undercover Some girls

Les Paul Jr’s have a chunky neck, I thought about buying one for half a second last year and went with and Epiphone Casino instead. Compared with the neck on the Les Paul’s I own the Jrs neck felt horrible. But they do have a sound of their own.

QuoteSpodlumt Playing a duo acoustic set in Ukraine. So desperate. You care? Donate money. D-bags. Using human misery to sell downloads/tickets. Offensive. Maybe Ukraine offers tax breaks? U2 have a history of “politics” going back to the 80s, What they’re doing here isn’t new. Its par for the course with them, I didn’t pay attention to it for the last 40 years I won’t start now. They also were

Love the doors, but Jim was a bit out of it during that gig. Here’s another version Densmore didn’t like doing the tune, he felt the stones version was better than theirs.

Quoteroryfaninva On May 6, 1968, NASA astronaut Neil Armstrong almost met his fate while simulating a lunar landing. This was a little over a year before he would become the first person to walk on the moon. (Cue the Self Righteous Brothers....) video: I loved this show back in the day. Enfield & Whitehouse - Genius OI! Armstrong! EAT YER FOOD IN A TERRESTRIAL MANNER.

I feel they kinda threw it back and forth live. Often in the same song. It gave them that roll along with the rock Keef often mentions, they were very fluid live. They played off each other really well. Rambler is an example where Charlie, Keith & Mick all controlled the tempo and changes within the song. I think Steve Jordan’s done a different but great job. But they rocked, Rolled, Swun

Quotebv I have been running IORR since 1980, and online since the mid 90's. I have never accepted an offensive title of any report or thread regarding the band members or their music, like "Why I do not like xxx" or "Why I hate yyy" ... I do not mind a creative and open discussion, but when the title and the basis of the discussion is dislike, it means BULLY talks to m

Quotebjornone Pet Sounds! The hype is beyond my understanding. Aftermath, released the same year, is artistically a far superior album. Still it has never received the cred it deserves ... Music Critics like things to be “clever” Pet Sounds is a clever album. Clever however won’t make you dance. You shouldn’t have to “understand” music it’s either to your liking or not.

Not bad at all, as soon as it was over I played it again. Vans solo stuff bugged me a bit over the years, as I get older it’s grown on me. The 2 Them albums are essential. I love music, but musicians are just that. Lemmy may be the only musician I listened to as a young guy who’s views I agreed with. I’m not expecting coherent opinions form Junkies & Boozers. They’re free to express the
