Quoteretired_dog But if you finally leak them through limited copyright extension releases you'll also feed greedy bootleggers who never cared for copyrights anyway - well, that's exactly what happed with the stuff that ABKCO put out! And with full approvement from The Rolling Stones, mind you! The recordings leaked on Youtube by ABKCO, is copyrighted by both ABKCO and Promotone (The

No one has ever claimed Darryl is the only bass player. He is a hired hand. On Bridges To Babylon he is only on 3 tracks. In the studio, creativity is the main factor. Knowing this, being a musician myself, it’s creatively uplifting having other people than usual, bringing things to the table. In concert it’s different. And Darryl is secured in the touring band.

Too many ungrateful so-called Stones-fans on here. It’s pathetic to read all these so-called ‘reviews’ of music that hasn’t even been out for 3 hours (sic!). You don’t deserve the music one bit. Play your old records instead.

Quotekowalski QuoteBlueranger Quotekowalski At last a song that sounds like the good old Stones - they should have recorded the whole album with Bill ! You must have some ears of wonder. Bill is quite low in the mix… Try the HD version. You can clearly hear Bill's bass bouncing the track off. It’s totally laughable to dismiss tye rest of the album because Bill is not on it. But I gues

QuoteGetYerAngie A lukewarm review from Ekstra Bladet (a tabloid like The Sun) in Denmark: You can’t count on him. He is working for a tabloid newspaper who gets a living out of clickbaits. He is ALWAYS going against the stream and by doing so, the newspaper and him are getting what they aim for: Attention and more clicks! However, every time Bob Dylan release a wet fart, he nearly orgasms

It’s up to The Stones themselves. ABKCO can’t release any vault material without the band’s approvement. The last time it was up for consideration was with the 50th anniversary of Let It Bleed, which had vault material up for release and the band gave their blessings to. However, Jody Klein backed out as he didn’t want to pay for tape-copying…

Quotertr Saw a link for Get Close and Depending on You a few weeks ago. Are they still available somewhere to check out? Thanks For your / our own sake, it’s illegal to share tracks not yet released. We have to respect Björnulf’s policy on this board. If I were you, I would delete the request for the songs. There are only 11 days till release. I think we can wait that long.

I think it’s pretty obvious ‘Get Close’ is Keith’s. ‘Tell Me Straight’ is Keith’s, obviously and ‘Driving Me Too Hard’ - wasn’t that reported it was Keith’s also?

QuoteHopiman Quotegotdablouse Am I the only one to be embarrassed by the video ? Did they really need that girl to "pole dance" on the car, almost B&B poster style ?! It's too bad because seeing the animated pictures from the past was pretty cool. you're not the only one! The animated Stones are cool, but that girl... Isn't it cheap somehow? I can't help

UK Mono all the way. Track-wise, I’ve always found it way too long. Going Home is a drag for the last 5 minutes. That they nixed Ride On Baby and Sittin’ On A Fence in favour of songs like Take It Or Leave It and a going-nowhere rocker like It’s Not Easy, I will never understand. I’ve always found the 2 following albums, Between The Buttons and Satanic Majesties, better, more consistent a

If Darryl is ‘generic’ in his playing, is he then also to blame for the ‘generic’ sound the Stones has practised for the last 35 years? Because I also hear the whole band playing way cleaner and MOR. Face it guys, the whole sound of The Stones was dramatically changed when Steel Wheels arrived and has been ever since. Btw. Bill Wyman, as great as he was for the band, was sometimes playing ve

Quote24FPS Why? He's just kind of noodling, adding little substance. He's there to fill a space. I'm convinced just about any competent bassist could do what he does. He played on the studio version of very few songs they've recorded and play live. He sounds like he has no emotional investment at all. When it's all said and done he'll be part of the Stones history li

I love the track. But it’s not stronger than anything on Let It Bleed. That says quite a lot, that they could leave things like this on the floor. With that said, Stevie Wonder’s own version remains stronger and is the definitive version.
