Perfect song for a potential new Martin Scorcese movie. ;-) Back to the song; I'm not a fan of new Stones material! Angry and Living in a Ghost Song aren't that great and rather cliché Stones riffs and lyrics. And Jagger is forcing his vocals in a way I don't like. But hey, that's me. BUT...this track suprises me in a good way. It really reminds me of Let it Loose an

Quotepeoplewitheyes Am I allowed to do this? Both much-loved tracks, but which is your favourite? Mine is definitely Angry, I prefer its overall sound, the messy mass of guitars, vocals and handclaps in the second half, and that grungy bass. What do you think? Neither.

Jeff Beck was a huge John McLaughlin fan! He admired him and was truly inspired by him. John's playing is a little bit different today than in the 1970s. Less frantic and loud unfortunately. But he's still a god to me! His performance was awesome!

Quote24FPS I wonder they've never played Jumping Jack Flash, or Satisfaction for that matter, and Under My Thumb, like their studio versions? The stage production of these songs are too fast, too rock and roll. Satisfaction is usually played like they're trying to get through it fast as possible. There's no jazz swish on UMT like there is on the record between Brian on marimba, Bil

QuoteNilsHolgersson Quotetimmyj3 QuoteDiamondDog7 I love the Stones. But I think I'm one of the few who DON'T want to hear or care for a new album by the Stones! Another KR riff, another 'forced' MJ vocals, mediocre lyrics, no Charlie etc etc...All these elements on a new album? No, I pass. QuotePaintMonkeyManBlack that is the drummer of a (mediocre) only dutch known band called krezip who had their fame around 2000. Suprising to say at least. Agreed! A big suprise! I really don't like Krezip. Annoying Dutch band! Overhyped here, but they had hits. Lousy songs though. But how did that drummer got the U2 gig?? I'm happy for him. But I'm so suprised. LOL

Quotedrwatts It might not be the best but Frankfurt is so damn sleazy. Love it. I agree. That's why I prefer the 70s versions of this song; sleazy, funky, raw, groovy. The later versions (90s, 00s) are too slick, slow, different.
