Can I take a minute to talk about the station I still dream about? KPPC was the first FM rock station in Los Angeles. But, it was more than just a spot on the radio dial. It was a place of imagination. KPPC began broadcasting rock and roll in 1967, from the basement of a church in Pasadena. But the station itself was a church, preaching a daily sermon of great records, good politics, and high spi

As this is my first time on board, let me say how many times the posts on this site have taught me something, or made me laugh. I hope I can add something to the party. I'm over fifty years of age, and I've been listening to the Stones since elementary school. I was just in the car with my eight year old son listening to "Goat's Head", for the first time in many years.
