Yeah I'd say so.......that's crazy...to see them at the apex of their most famous tour, at the peak of their powers......I'm jealous......what other 70's tours did you see?

Right........the Stones defined and continually redefined what a rock and roll band was. I feel personally that the Stones still make some fine music and still give some great performances but that menacing swagger that sometimes comes of as posturing these days was once very, very real. The reason I think Stones concerts were so exciting in the 70's was because of the drugs and the danger

haha thanx man you make it sound like I know what I'm talking about but I'm just 24 yrs old.....I was born in '82!! I've done my homework though...and I do agree with you. Pre-'81/'82 Stones concerts sounded so much different....it sounded as if the wheels could fall off at any second and the whole thing could spin out of control (occasionally it would) but that

Yeah I dont really regret it........I regret that it lasted so long but otherwise I learned from it and as a musician, I think the more you can expirience the better because it gives you more to draw on as an artist....thanx for the response though.....I really didn't expect anybody to reply.

I like all their tours really but my favorites are the pre-Steel Wheels tours. When they came back out for the Steels Wheels tour, the shows were much more structured and the songs were done in a fashion that was meant to reflect the studio versions of their songs more. They started using backup singers, more horns than ever before, tape samples and click tracks and the shows took on a more gli

ok.......there's all I have of Detroit 7/28/75 except for the Billy Preston tracks which I didn't bother to post. If anybody wants them, just ask and I'll post them too. It's a pretty typical '75 show. As far as I know, the rest of the songs from that concert are not available in soundboard quality. If any of these links are wrong, let me know and I'll fix them.....

Really? Is that all? I'm not well versed on the '82 tour......with so many soundboard recordings from the '81 tour, you'd think there would be more than 2 from '82......

Ok..........so you do have Missing Links? or you don't? Well regardless, I was wanting to know about this version of JJF on Missing Links that is supposed to come from the same Frankfurt show that yielded the sb version of SFM found on a few different Europe '73 compilations. So I guess I should phrase this question like this: Does anybody out there have The Missing Links (1973

ummmm........not that I know any of these people (I'm new here) but I kind of don't understand the argument here.....I mean, I get the point, but why should anybody really care??? I mean, if you think Mario is asking too much for his discs, don't buy them. That being said, I don't know Mario and I can't personally vouch for him, but as far as this post is concerned, was

I have the Frankfurt 9/30/73 2nd show audience tape and the version of SFM is the same as the sb version that's reportedly from Frankfurt, the same one that somebody posted on here a while back asking if it was from Munich......Now unless the Frankfurt audience tape is wrong and its' actually Munich, then the version of SFM in question is from Frankfurt 9/30/73 2nd show.
