QuoteDoxa QuoteDandelionPowderman When people are talking about the wonderful and unique guitar playing on it, and I can't hear it, it would probably be wise for me to just leave it at that. This idea I simply don't get as far as we are talking about the greatness of songs and not that of some particaluar parts of them (for example, guitar parts). This must be something dee

Thanks for the help so far. So I downloaded the RAR files and then downloaded RAR Extractor, which uncompiled the files but into VOB format. I downloaded Skysoft video converter to try to put it into mp4 format but the VOB files keep refusing to load in Skysoft to the conversion. This is all beyond me... if anyone has a copy on DVD I can buy, please message me separately. Any help muc

I recall reading a year or three back that Ronnie had 'taken the band under his wing' and become an informal mentor so that could explain it...

QuoteDreamer Plundered My Soul...the best of the last few years or decades. Because it's almost entirely from the seventies probably...the best era for the Stones: filled with melancholy in ballads, blues, rock, country etc. That sound man with those feelings...Voodoo Lounge has something of that (yeah not much but it does!). +1 Is there the slightest chance they can drop Tumblin

It's obvious, like in the Prince Rupert Lowenstein bio.... they are obviously enjoying (and getting paid very well) doing current 50th Anniversary shows but can only get insured for a handful at a time. Due to their age. Also, it probably suits them to work this way - a bunch of shows and then a few months off. It's great - gives us more time to save up for the air fares or tix

If there is a great song on the album, it sure is the title track - although I like SWH very much as well. With this album it seems fans are very divided. While you'll get a few p

QuoteDoxa Quotetreaclefingers Quote71Tele PMS. Because of Mick Taylor, but mostly because it brought back in a new song a certain Stones vibe we had almost lost hope we would ever hear again. I so totally appreciate what they did with that number. For me, it's a very hard choice, for as much as I like PMS, both for just as a song, and how they were able to pull it together 40 years l
