No, I (a her) was in a black t-shirt and jeans.....sitting sorta in the middle under the balcony. What an awesome night - 1st, the thrill of Elvis showing up, and then Jack White! That's not to even mention seeing a show in the Ryman, which

I think Steely Dan posted a very tongue-in-cheek article about copywrite infringement and a lot of people took it seriously!

I've lived in Memphis all my life but THAT week I was on vacation with my family on the Gulf Coast of Florida.....we saw that a lot of Elvis movies were on TV and we said, "what's all this?" The announcer later called him the "late" Elvis Presley. Although Elvis was around everywhere when I was growing up, I never became a fan until a couple of years after his death

Great photos! Rog also had the teacup in Little Rock back in March. Maybe it's a prop for "Tea & Theatre"? I saw them then for the 1st time in 25 years....I dragged my reluctant husband to the show (his 1st) and now he's the one who always wants to watch the DVD! The Who, naturally, blew him away.

I think they put on a great show and I love 'em. They've always charged more than everybody else in the market - at least since I've been seeing 'em, 1st time being in 1975. They charged $10 for general admission...just unheard of at the time! Yeah, I can't afford the stagetouching seats anymore....but I still had a wonderful time in the cheap seats at Churchill Downs

I love the Iggy/Tom scene - I bought it for that reason alone, although I do like a few of the others as well. I love Steve Buscemi (I suspect that part was filmed during the filming of "Mystery Train") but that is an urban myth about Elvis and not true.
