Quotekowalski Review on Rockerparis blog : I've built a playlist based on this, when possible from previous club gigs, just to get a feel :-) I'm happy for anyone who managed to get in. Thanks BV for the review. I'd love to read more.

I'm totally missing the point. Please help me understand how cheaper tickets will ensure that only true Stones connoisseurs will attend the concerts... I know people that are not particularly fond of Rolling Stones music but would go and see them if they are in town and the tickets would be affordable. So, if being surrounded by true believers is important to you you should applaud the

Quotejazzbass I'll believe it when I see it. Also, how would they get paid? Would Bill get a 1/5 founders cut? Also anxious to see how Keith, Ronnie and Mick T split up guitar duties. I don't believe there has ever been an even five way split. Not that is any of my business.

There've been a number of tickets on auction on ebay with a reserve of about 1.5x face value which passed with zero bids. If you need a ticket, keep an eye out. Prices might drop. Also checking back at ticketmaster could be an option.

So, Go see Elbow. It's nice music. You know, I really would like to drive an Aston Martin. Back in December 1963 the price for the Aston Martin DB5 sports saloon coupe was 4,175. Nowadays a new Aston Martin DBS costs EUR 355.000 in my country. I think this is an outrage. I've been an admirer for many years and therefore I'm entitled to being offered a DBS for a much lower

Get over it people. Sure the tickets are not cheap, but that is not new: Read this interview with Sam Cutler: In 1969, you were hired as tour manager for the Rolling Stones. In some ways, it was the first major American rock 'n' roll tour -- at least of that size and scope. It also drew lots of criticism. In addition to high ticket prices, the tour was seen by some as a greedy, lawl

QuoteEdith Grove QuotePromomanAt the end the guy next to me tried to catch the drumsticks which Jason threw into the audience. .... One guy was even anticipating the lyrics and singing them out loud before Plant would actually sing. Some @#$%& just never grow up. I don't care much for anticipating singers in the audience. We all know the lyrics so what are they trying to prove

Quoteguyrachel Just paid £817 for 2 tickets, well I say "just paid", the credit card did, these were the first tickets to come up, after I experienced "high demand", then "not available" ended up with x2 in block B2- thing is I am actually so torn, coz I'm DISGUSTED at the prices BUT I can't stop myself from seeing them, even though it is going to give me m

QuoteBluzDude I've seen may rock movies in theaters including Stones in Rio and SAL, tonight was the first time I ever saw a movie crowd get into it like they were actually at the concert. It was extremely will done....After the first 4 songs and lots of complaints of the volume not being loud enough, they made the adjustment and started it over from the beginning. Were you at Pathé Schouwbu

Quoteriffhard72 QuoteMathijs Highlights: 1. Great footage of the Brian days, especially the intro before the curtains opened and then the mobbing onstage. 2. The Stones where really honest about Brian, his infleunce, his downfall, and that they could have done more for him. 3. Great footage of the JJF video: lots of focussing on Brian 4. Lots of outtakes could be heard: Salt of the Earth w

I liked it. Lots of footage I had not seen before. I liked that is was all about the band end not too much about the surroundings. I liked the song writing bits. Just when I thought: "Two decades down, three to go" the film suddenly ended. Our cinema in Gouda had some technical challenges as well and we lost the stream twice, bet the guys recovered it quite quickly and we missed jus

Quoterobv QuotePromoman Went to see the Pretty THings in Apeldoorn last night. It was great. Dick Taylor surely still can play. Hey Promoman, heb je nog meer foto's? Je stond volgens mij vlak voor me. Jawel. Er staan al twee filmpjes op het youtube kanaal van mijn vriendin mrsradiohead (met dat 60s jurkje). Ik zal zaterdag nog wat filmpjes uploaden op stonesfan62.

After having listened to the Youtube version a few times I went on Itunes and bought both available versions. The difference is rather big. I like the GRRR! version more than the Radio edit. Overall it has a more Stonesy sound to it for me. Guitars are clearer and even cleaner and more upfront to my taste and the drums sound less drum machine-like.
