I would love to have a payband at festivals. In my country the promotors usually sell coins. You always end up buying more coins than you need and in many cases it is impossible to return unused coins or there is a huge cue after the event.

It is something of today's day and age. I tend to shoot 3 to 5 songs of most concerts I attend. I try to keep the cam as low as possible not to block anybody's view, but high enough not to have 5 mmins of footage of someone's hairdo bouncing. It is a balance indeeed. I get lots of comments and thanks for posting. YCAGWYW from O2 Nov 25 has been watched 47000 times, well over

I'm not a great enthusiast when it come to clapping (Or singing along for that matter). My girlfriend warned be about the German clapping habits when we went to the Bigger Bang show in Hannover. She told me she used to record Rockpalast shows in the early eighties and most recordings were ruined by the clapping. It turned out to be true. I also can sometimes recognize a German boot by the

Missed the 3nd show of the Urban Jungle tour in Rotterdam. After attending the 2nd show I decided I wanted to go again. No scalpers though on day 3. So I walked back to the car with Start Me Up blasting through the Kuip only to find parking ticket under the wiper.

Quote24FPS Lies is a throwaway, the only clinker on the album. I think Claudine should have gone in that spot. In that era Punk was the rising as a raw reaction to over produced disco and glam rock. To me Some Girls showed that the Stones were still up there and fully in touch with what was going on. Looking back you may prefer Claudine over Lies but at the time it was one of the pieces that m

When, forty years from now, I'll tell my grand children that I got to see the real Rolling Stones live back in 2013 and paid $ 1000,- for the ticket, I'm sure that the first part will be the memorable part, as $ 1000 will probably just be enough for the parking fee at their night out.

On Sunday I went past the Crawdaddy. It is now a nice restaurant. The waitress was from Poland and had no grasp of what the Crawdaddy used to be. Neither did the barmen from New Sealand. I went to the Bricklayers Arms to see where the guys used to practice. Maybe I was at the wrong bricklayers arms, but no sign of any Stones heritage here. Some nice singing going on though. I went to Edith Gro

Quotealbop Yes, thank you to the Rolling Stones for the prices of the tickets. A lot of fans stayed at home. I got this from the 'Thank the Stones' Thread, which I think is a great initiative by BV. I did not want to pollute that one. Really that is not the place to do that is it? And hasn't that been said more than enough times?

QuoteTheBlockbuster This was much better than the O2 2007 gig but they still play some songs slower which is not a good thing: You are right. JJF is slightly slower than it was in 2007 and slower than the original single (or any recording I have). I prefer this 2012 version over some of the sped up versions.
