...and open-g will be there too to fill any weak guitar spots from Keith and Ronnie, surely a great gig for him and quite possibly a big chance to join them permantly if he does his job well - and I have no doubts that he will!

According to recently released facts from highly credible sources, the Rolling Stones will play a special gig at my birthday party next year. I can choose the setlist (well, in fact I was given a list of 167 songs to choose from, so I cannot pick Gomper or a Beatles cover - on the other hand, extremely rare stuff like The Lantern or Don't Lie To Me is included). Unfortunately, it's not

I would not mind the use of older live tracks if those are not available in any form (like DVD)...Parachute Woman or ... (fill in the blanks).

Supergroups don't always work musically...three strong egos like Jones, Hendrix, Lennon in one band? Nice idea, but was it really a realistic perspective? Threaten the Stones? In theory, yes. But the Stones had many popular songs behind them, and this "supergroup" had to start from scratch - or can anyone imagine them playing Beatles & Hendrix songs - not to speak of Stones son

Tseverin, good points overall...in fact I'd wish you to be a member of this investigation team because you are able to see everything from different perspectives. The problem I have with this current team is that - from what I have read so far - they seem to investigate the case under the premise that something must be wrong with Brian's death, that there is indeed a "hidden tru

Yeeees, that's the old Mick magic, and his players are great, Jimmy Rip is a master! Voodoo Lounge is a good album, but it could have been a classic if Mick and Keith did not use their best songs at the time for their solo projects.

The statement is constructed in a way that leaves both interpretations open. And is is constructed in a way that is hard to come by in legal terms - just in case Jagger and his lawyers take notice. &g

All this doomsday talk comes from people who are finished with the Stones for whatever reason(s) and actually want to see them fail big time. This may also be fuelled by the dream that in case they fail with big shows, they might return to a smaller scale which allows them to actually focus more on the music than nowadays when the focus is a bit more on the "show". However, it's a

Hi open-g, since you posted "House On The Hill" by your band Guilloteens I am a big fan of you (still listen regularly to this great tune). Your version of Wild Horses is simply great. It's in my top three of cover versions of this song (the others are the ones by The Flying Burrito Brothers and Leon Russell). Well done!
