I am so excited, I just caved in and bought tickets to the Who concert at Mandalay Bay in Vegas the Friday night before the Stones play the MGM on Saturday. Also the Pretenders are opening for the Who - what an awesome 48 hours of rock and roll - I hope I survive!

Yep, Oakland will be #12 of the tour for me and I am so excited. Have 2nd row center and I am going to rock the house! I bit the bullet and got tickets for the Who in Las Vegas tonite so I have the double header going on with the Who and the Stones in Vegas and ending in Boise, I hope I make it out alive! Can't wait. Maybe we'll even get some obscure songs at one of the shows.

The "Stones organization" were not handing out or selling tickets to the Beacon to people with connections - the reason, I was told, was then there was not enough money in it!! (i.e. given the fact that the most expensive tickets were $50). I read this as a good sign. God knows how the brokers get them.

It really is sad they didn't decide to give the Bay Area an arena show. The last time they played the Oakland Arena it was the most awesome show and makes so much more sense at that time of year. Showers are forcast, although of course Keith will just bring out his magic stick and keep the rain away... still an arena would have been sooo nice.

that is an awesome set list, even if a partial one. I wish I wish I wish I was there but I am so excited for all of those with tickets. I gave it my best shot on every f-----ing competition and didn't make it. I just hope some of those songs go down so well that they play one or two of them in Oakland, Boise or Vegas.
