I am definitely a big fan of the '..Bang' album; still play it regularly and feel it's a mighty fine collection of tunes! I have my own "A Better Bang" on the ol' i-pod cutting out the 4 or 5 I don't care for as much - 'It won't take Long' is one of them. Just feel it's very generic, nothing like the raucous energy of some of the other ro

Any Gallagher fans here? Was watching Rory last night, the 2nd of 5 full concerts on the "Rockpalast" DVD collection. Awesome stuff indeed A brilliant Live document of the legend. Wonderful altogether, Rory and the band on fiery form, one hell of a performance. Thrilling stuff, his showmanship, and peerless guitar playing - raging rock'n'roll! Check out some reviews o

As a big fan of Prince I was anticipating this one greatly - but must somewhat agree with Nikolai's posts; this is well below average for a Prince album. As Gazza mentioned, am surprised now reading back on the Tony Parsons "best album in 23 years" review - is this the same album I'm listening to?? Very poor overall methinks, not an album I'd put anywhere near Prince'

With the upcoming release of Woody's "I Feel Like Playing" I've been redsicovering some vintage (and quite brilliant) solo Wood! His last two studio albums were quite good, but methinks the jewel in his solo crown are the first two. 'I've Got My Own Album To Do' was always a great one; plenty of sterling stuff on it, but only recently did I delve into 'N

Greetings! Just on Stephens's Green here a few minutes ago, and there was the man himself; just managed a very quick few words with him; asked him about a Stones tour next year, and he said "Hopefully, fingers crossed mate"! Excellent! He had 3 or 4 people with him so I didn't want to stop him, I have the autograph and photo from last time I met him the day before the S

Greetings! I've just seen that Matt Lauer - apparently just last year - interviewed all four Stones together; I think it's called "NBC OnStage". It can't be viewed outside the USA, on the hulu.com website and can't seem to find it on YouTube, DailyMotion or any of those. Has anyone got it to upload? Also - if I may ask; on YouTube last year there were kille

Is it easy to capture the video to a computer asan MPEG-2 using hardware capture that convert the VHS to MPEG-2 ? - It's probably easy once you know how to! I'm illiterate in these kinds of things, though really do need to learn as I want to download clips from YouTube and put them on a DVD.

I know, I know^^ Differences in this that and electric other.. Was only rambling on as the PAL / NTSC thing is simply awkward sometimes. Chalk it down to having a bad day at work here - Jan 18th is supposed to be the worst day of the year according to the papers this morn^

This is one interview I would dearly love to have aswell; in watchable quality^ It's rare to have an interview with just Mick & Keith; and it's a very relaxed interview. I have it - in practically woeful state. Half of it is watchable - about 16 minutes or so you can actually watch, though even at that it's blurred, but at least you can hear 'em somewhat clearly and see

That sounds like a bloody wonderful idea! IF a tree/vine is ever set up, as they had on Bob boards, that would be ideal. I had the same problem - obtaining copies of both in the same region (PAL Vs NTSC) proved very problematic. Goddangit, with all the technology in the world can we not just have one Universal region-DVD. No more PAL Vs NTSC, bring that wall down! One Love^*

Greetings from wintery Ireland, Happy New Year to all, A query, for those in the know, for the Stones genius' here who can tell a Pigalle from a Pignose^ After watching multiple very cool clips on YouTube of unreleased tracks, and with literally hundreds of bootleg titles out there, I'm asking which would be the BEST 5 or so, say covering 1962 - 1982. I have so

Happy new Year all! Just found this cracking little number from 1978 - "It's a Lie" For anyone in the know, is this the most complete version of this track? And if I may ask, what boot CD is it available on? A great track I must say. Many thanks

Excellent idea JumpingKentFlash - something like that sounds incredible. I have lots of unreleased tunes; on various CD's, some on computer, catch some on YouTube - but a one-stop multi-CD set of just the unreleased tunes would be a second Xmas!

..well, they may as well cover Jumpin' Jack Flash on their 1979 track "Catch me Now I'm Falling"^ Listen out for the carbon copy of the JJF riff from 50 seconds in and throughout! - This may have been covered before here on iorr, my first time hearing the Kinks' "Low Budget" and found it funny they re-used the exact riff to Jumpin' Jack

4 years later I still listen to ABB, it's a mighty fine Stones album. Loved Voodoo & most of Bridges; and methinks Voodoo probably would be my favourite post-'Tatoo You' opus, but '..Bang' has some seriously good grooves on there. The likes of 'Let me Down Slow', 'Laugh I Nearly Died', 'This Place is Empty', 'Rain Fall Down

It shows the depth of the Stones catalogue that we can have such differing views on such a wide range of songs. The List below for example - true, some of 'em I agree with are absolute turds, but there are a surprising amount there that I actually love. For instance; Angie, New Faces, Rain Fall Down, Miss You, Continental Drift,Gunface, and even Anyway you Look at It. JUMP OFF - THE

Must say I'm tending to agree; after years of not bothering to give this album a chance (though I listened to it quite a bit when the 1994 Virgin reissues were released), I've redicscovered this li'l gem. Love the sound, the mood and the groove of the album. Anything cool you get; articles, photos etc; please add them here or send them on to me aswell. Many thanks!

Greetings & Salutations, Howdy and a very good Monday morn to all, In these days of downloading and torrenting, anyone out there still trade?^ I'm only after bits and pieces; I love TV specials and interviews, and would be looking in UK and Europe as I favour PAL DVD/Video! Some very cool stuff on YouTube but alas, how does one put on a disc what one finds on YouTube^
