Even on boots I've heard back from the early seventies, Mick would sing the more politically correct, "just like a young boy should" instead of girl during Brown Sugar. I just got back from the Soldier Field show, and he sang "just like a young girl should" This is uber geeky, but has he ever sang it like in the last 30 years? Is "just like a black girl should&q

This is probably one of my all time favorite Stones songs, but this is one of those songs they just don't do justice when they play it now. Charlie's drums on the original are sublime, Rocks Off made a best drum songs ever CD from Max Weinberg a few years ago. But today, Charlie doesn't play it anything like he did on the record. On Exile, his fills are just awesome, that fill

I saw Chris Robinson at Buddy Guy's Legends in Chicago in the early 90s. They have a little roped off VIP section where Buddy's friends and celebrities can sit without being bothered by anyone. Instead of sitting there where he would not be bothered if he didn't want to be, he chose to hang in the crowd and he was a complete tool to everyone. He made a huge show of letting every

In the interviews with the band someone else posted earlier (http://www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek/inhalt/20/0,4070,3918836-6-rv_modem,00.html) I thought it was very interesting that when Mick was asked about Sweet Neo Con and how it was such a direct and pointed political song, he mentioned that he wrote a more subtle political song about the Abu Ghraib prison scandal and nobody noticed. I have to

You can also just burn an audio CD from itunes of the files you want and then import the audio CD you just made back into MP3 format. You'll waste a CD but if you don't have that many to do, it seems a lot easier than all of the steps above

Actually Best Buy and other sites have almost all of their albums listed as (MLPS) as very expensive imports

Does anyone know what is different about this version of "Rolling Stones, Now" It shows a March 21, 2006 release date and is very expensive ($44) for a single cd

Just found this on limewire, Keith opened with this song with the Winos in 92/93, I'm assuming this is him and the Winos from that era. What's interesting is that if it is 1992 or 1993, near the end of the song he's clearly playing the "You Got Me Rocking" riff two years before Voodoo Lounge came out! Can he sue himself for nicking his own riff?

David Lee Roth. If you have any doubt, check out this link to his own website, and watch the video of him performing in 2004. It is truly depressing to watch.

The paragraph about Beast of Burden is also wrong. Correct me if I'm wrong because I have the original CD not the recent reissue, but the version on Sucking in the Seventies is the studio single version, not a live version for 1981. This is the same live version that is on the Flashpoint +Collectibles Are we complete Stones geeks for noticing these errors, or is it too much to ask tha

I thought for Prince's last tour, every ticket included a copy of the CD, and that counted in billboard as units sold. It's one of the reasons his last album had decent sales, because everyone who saw him live "bought" a copy as part of the cost of the concert

What about the original "reggae" version of Start Me Up. Has anyone heard that or have it?

Does anyone remember reading about Waddy being arrested a few years ago. I won't say what for because after I read about it I never saw it again, and I don't want to stir things up if I was wrong because I can't find anything about it online now. Just curious if anyone else remembers. For a day or two, it was on a few news and music news sites.

I had 4th row tickets in Chicago in section a1 (far right side of stage) With my binoculars, I could read the set list next to Charlie's drums while they were finalizing the set up for the Stones. I too have been disappointed at the setlists and was pretty annoyed that there were no new surprises in Chicago as I read the list before they came on. Then the show started, and the disappoint

Whoever or whatever group has done the job of getting the Stones new stuff on the radio for the last 10-15 years sucks and needed to go. They need to go after that Adult Rock station market first, the ones that embrace Sheryl Crow (who shares at least some crossover fan base with the Stones). Each new album they push for the younger market first, just like Rough Justice, and the song tanks. Ma

I think it is well worth it. For Soldier Field, I got section A1 row 4 for $99 each. A1 is first section to the far right of the stage, but when Mick or Keith or whoever walks over there, they'll be right in front of us. I saw other seats on Ticketmaster for $450 that were in section B4 (not sure who would want those) which is far more centered to the stage, but quite a ways back. The hot

Any ideas of when/where they will do smaller shows? At the press conference Michael Cohl mentioned that they will be doing different size venues, but not in the same cities that they are already playing a stadium show. I'm wondering if I should use my super secret pass code to get tickets to Soldier Field in Chicago, or hold out if they play the Aragon or another similar sized venue in C
