Most are giving the best 4 years and not 3! I'll take 1970-1972.

Have the DVD of the Faces concert where Keith joins them on stage. It was their final concert. Also Keith joined U2 on stage for When Loves Comes To Town back in 88 or so. I recall recording it but haven't seen it in years. Bono says, "Where's my mate Keith Richards?", then Keith comes on stage and they play the song. Also, as was mentioned previously, Mick singing ba

From what I've seen on the news in Canada, Europe is going through a very terrible winter with lots of snow. I've seen quite a few reports of weather related accidents. Conversely, in the news today, it said Canada has had it's warmest year in over 100 years. Areas of the country that usually get lots of snow and cold temperatures are experiencing relatively warm winters. Hope

To all those who say vinyl sounds better than CD's, I'm curious as to the type of turntable/cartridge/receiver/speakers you have? As far as second hand stores go, I would think that since they have a lot of second hand albums, they'd need a turntable. When CD's became popular in the mid to late 80's, alot of back catalog albums were rush released in CD format. Al

First saw him in The Wild Life (I think that's the name), a teen comedy from the mid 80's. Also saw him in Pale Rider, a Clint Eastwood movie that was based on the movie Shane. Saw him last in the HBO Comedy Series Entourage, playing himself. From what I've heard, foul play wasn't suspected. Regardless of how many movies brother Sean does, he'll always be Spicoli fr

When I saw the subject line, I thought it was Bayou that was posting it. I would prefer to see Crue over alot of their other opening acts the Stones have right now. Actually, the Aerosmith/Crue double bill sounds good. Aerosmith sure are touring alot right now. They did the Aerosmith/KISS double bill a couple years ago and they've toured with Lenny Kravitz recently. Tickets for their Va

This was a topic several months ago I recall. Can't remember my list then, but it must be similar to this: Ya Ya's Purple Made In Japan Cheap Trick at Budokan AC/DC If You Want Blood KISS Alive and Alive 2 Sam Cooke at the Harlem Square

Hi Send It To Me. Like, Rumple21, I wasn't able to open the file. I'm not the most computer literate person and I use a work computer so I don't want to be downloading any special programs to open the files. Can you send it in the regular mp3 format?

Entourage (HBO) - young Hollywood Star with his friends Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO) - stars Larry David, co-creator of Seinfeld. Weeds - funny show - w/Mary Louise Parker and Kevin Nealon. Suburban housewife who's husband dies unexpectedly becomes a suburban drug dealer to earn money. The Office - both versions, but especially original UK series. Arrested Development - Hopefully doesn&#

Just think how many points he could have had if it weren't for injuries and his bout with cancer. Perhaps some of Gretzky's records could have been in jeopardy.

Hi Send It To Me. Can you post It's All Over Now from Stripped? Unfortunately I don't really have anything to trade. All the rare material I have I've managed to download from here recently.

I also purchased the other Allen Klein SACD hybrid remasters of The Animals Greatest Hits, Sam Cooke's Greatest and Herman's Hermit's Greatest. Like the Stones, these remasters sound better than the previous CD releases. As I've mentioned here before, Dark Side of the Moon hybrid sounds awesome, especially in 5.1 surround. Oasis What's The Story also sounds awesome

Most of CD 2 had been available here in recent weeks, thanks to those who upload it onto the You Send It site for the rest of us. Sound quality was very good. Perhaps they can be re-posted? It Should Be You was one of the very first songs Jagger/Richards ever wrote. Didn't Gene Pitney release it?

The stage is premade and just has to be rolled onto the field, probably a little bigger than their regular B stage. I don't think it can be too difficult to run the sound through the stadium's PA system. 10 minutes to move the stage, 15 minute set, 10 minutes to remove! Should be an awesome game. Cheering for Seattle but Pittsburgh looks like a tough team to beat.

The Stones re-releases are "hybrid" versions, which means they're SACD's and they can also be played on a regular CD player. The sound quality on just the regular layer is a big upgrade, in most cases, from the previous releases. I bought a Sony SACD player just because of the Stones releases. The only one's I didn't buy (again) were Hot Rocks, Through The Past

I mentioned a while back when the DVD was released that on 25x5 VHS, when they play the opening of YCAGWYW, you can easily hear his guitar strumming at the beginning, but on the DVD, it can't be heard at all. Someone here said that the guitar was overdubbed for the VHS release, although not sure if it is or not.

Hey Nicos, Thanks for posting the song. Finally got to actually hear it! Now that I have heard it, I can see why Klein wanted full credit for Jagger/Richards.

When I first saw the title, I immediately thought of Bayou, although I thought he was going to mention Crue! Not so sure of nowadays but when I first saw Motley on their Girls Girls Girls tour and then Feelgood tour, I was amazed at all the girls all done up with big hair, acid wash jeans, etc. Same as when I saw Poison back in the late 80's. As far as today, I think Rod Stewart always dr

Not sure how it is in Europe, but doesn't it suck that all the new venues have corporate names? Even Comiskey Park in Chicago has changed it's name. The only new venue in North America that I can think of that doesn't have any corporate name is in Portland, the Rose Garden. I wonder if new Wembley stadium will have some corporate name?

Hey Rockman, thanks for the news clipping and CD photo. I wonder, if according to the news clipping, that the piece that was sampled is so small that you can barely hear it, why didn't the Verve just remove it?

Didn't Bill and Charlie play for Princess Di at one of the Prince's Trust concerts, perhaps 1983? Other than that, I would think it would be Bill Clinton.

It was Allen Klein that sued The Verve and demanded that the songwriting credit be Jagger/Richards, since it was released in 1965 so ABKCO owns the publishing rights. I've never heard the Oldham Symphony version but from what I understand, the Verve song is basically their lyrics over the Oldham music. At the time, I was wondering if Mick/Keith even knew who the Verve were or had heard the

I was going to say that you could go to any sports bar to watch the Bears take on the Seattle Seahawks for the NFC final, but unfortunately they choked today and lost to Carolina (who were the better team today). Can't believe how poor their defense was today. Also, can't believe Indy lost again today. Manning is beginning to look like a great regular season QB that can't get it

Just on the billboard website and I see on their Boxscore that 10 Stones concerts are listed as the top concerts (actually they take up the whole list). If you go to billboard.com and then click on CHARTS at the top of the page and then CONCERTS, you'll see the numbers. I didn't think Cohl was going to release the attendance and sales amounts.
