I was born and raised on the Beatles....born in '63. My daddy used to come home from work and play A Hard Days Night, some of my earliest memories. Then my older brother bought all the later stuff, I remember listening to Revolution #9 from the White album, played backwards on the turntable. "Turn me on dead man". As a 6 year old, I was scared! Then hearing Here Comes The Sun

I was at my art studio, right across the street from Cal State University, Northridge. It was all a blur, I saw it all live on CNN. Around noon, I went to the university to visit friends in the Art dept., and everyone was glued to the tv. Everyone was shocked. Eventually the university, along with all public schools in the LA area were closed down for the day. We were told to evacuate the

U2 is horrible, they've been that way since '85. Rubin can be a great producer, the Red Hot Chili Peppers are proof of this. But his roots in rap music is his downfall...see the Beastie Boys.

Born in i963..43 years old. 40 Stones shows later, I'm shooting for Vegas and LA for #41 & #42. Would like an aditional show (rumoured LA arena or hawaii show), to round off to # 43..that would be perfect! Average Stones show per lifetime...once a year!

It was in the calendar section yesterday, and it was a review, not an "interview" as I mistakenly posted above. POP ALBUM REVIEW Seduced by the master once again Saucy, romantic ... Bob Dylan? Time Out Of Mind is an absolute masterpiece. Best Dylan album since Bloood On The Tracks. I fell in love with it the day I bought it in '97, and listened to it continously for weeks and months afterwards. Love And Theft was great as well, but the rag-tag slop of ideas and tunes thrown together makes it a bit inferior. Not as cohesive as Time Out Of Mind, and thats where it lacks in qu

He isn't that fat, but I can't help think of Mama Cass. Will MT be remembered as another fat one? I don't think so. His legacy is with the Stones music, when they were in their prime "slim & trim" years.

"There's no definition of nothing, no vocal, no nothing, just like ... static." Sounds like the lyrics of a great new song, Bob always has a way with words. You gotta love him!

Van will be treated like the second coming of the Messiah! Most Stones fans can understand and appreciate the significanceof Van the Man, especially the older and wiser ones in the crowd. This is a superb choice, and I can only hope he opens up in Vegas, and LA as well. And thank goodness the Stones dropped Streets Of Love from the UK set-list, We can all breathe a sigh of relief.

It's probably already been said, BUT ONLY 19 SONGS!!!! This is a long thread, and haven't had time to read through. Mick's voice must be suffering, or Keith may be having some headaches. Lets hope they stay healthy enough to finish this mini-Euro leg of the tour, and make their triumphant return to the US!

Coming Down Again would be a perfect fit, much better than Slipping Away, etc. And Infamy live was ridiculous. Not one of Keiths better moments...studio or live.

Mick starts it, and then Ronnie and Keith weave throughout. Keith has some killer blues licks, perfectly timed. And Daryl has finally found his bass-playing voice in the Stones with this song. He's one funky bassist!

Jones was very tame and generic. His sound was soft and mellow. A total contradiction for the Who. I saw them in '79, and it was a shame. As someone mentioned above, Daltrey didn't like him. In a recent interview with Roger, he called Kenny Jones a mistake that he regrets. It should have never happened.

I heard the sound was horrible from all levels, and it was uncomfortable to be stared at by thousand of fans watching the Stones. I'd rather sit FOS...even 10 rows back...even 20 or 30 rows back. Even the short B-stage experience has more value than sitting behind the band.
