Just downloaded this. The performance is great but the mastering and compression is awful. Not everybody listens to music on cheap ear buds. Hopefully we will get a not "mastered for iTunes" version that has some dynamics.

A top ten Stones album for me. The only similarity with Pepper is both bands were dropping a lot acid at the time...and maybe the cover. I love the 2-4 Cd sets of outtakes. The long instrumental version of Sing This All Together (take 7) is great! More Piper than Pepper.

Man, I haven't listened to this in years, but this morning while walking the dog I listened to Crazy Mama through CS Blues. Is that Mac, Stu, or both on the left side of the mix? I like the B3 on CS Blues. Super cool,I wish they still had the keyboard sound now! Love the fast Gimme Shelter, too bad it cuts toward the end. That could have been a barn burner in the set. The point is that is does not have to be this way. There are many hugely popular bands that use technology and ticketing systems that are fair in terms ticket distribution and preventive in terms of scalping. To say we have platinum tickets or whatever so the band keeps the money the scalpers would make is BS. The official sales with moving price targets based on demand IS scalping.

This all about the money not anti-scalping, if the band cared they would take a lower guarantee. Many, many bands have reasonable ticket prices and use anti-scalping measures to ensure fans get the tickets. Pearl Jam is a great example with their ticketing system. I think Springsteen too though I don't know first hand. Hell the Stones did it for the Licks Theater shows, I had to pic

I live about 50 miles from Red Rocks and go to 7-10 shows there every summer. The seating configuration differs depending on the artist. Some shows are all GA or all reserved. Most are a combination of the two. For instance Tom Petty had the first 60 rows reserved and GA in the back. Most shows I attend have rows 1-25 GA, 26-60 reserved and GA in the back. There is no difference in the GA tickets
