To this day Black & Blue is the most original Stones album, the excursion to other music styles worked perfectly, without betraying the Stones mould. Truly a great set of songs, even getting better with time. The album also has the Stones' best cover and the best music videos promoted it (even though quickly shot on a concert stage between gigs in Germany).
