i think people who make inane pronouncements about a show they heard 30 years after the fact on a disc suck....i WAS there and had a great time ...all the forum shows were great...

happy 30th to all here who went to any of these shows...what a friggin' week that was! i read a piece on that tour in vanity fair a few years ago and what really made me laugh was a bit about the shows at madison square garden....as the chinese dragons and dancers started winding there way through the crowd somebody backstage asked "what's going on?" and somebody else replied

no kidding...i used to do tour catering and i would make $1200 - $1400 a week plus per diem for 10-12 week tours and that was just for cooking...union stagehands, etc. would make upwards of $3,500 and more weekly...and that was ten years ago..
