QuoteRollingFreak QuoteMadMetaphoricalMax I loved The Wall when it came out, I was about 15 - side 1 and 2 especially. Sides 3 and 4 felt a bit indulgent, even then. I started to dislike it after the movie came out - all that bombast. Like Tommy, I need to pretend the album exists with the movie, cause both movie's ruin the album for me. I'd say The Wall is perfect up until One Of My

QuoteKingbeebuzz I am not sure SSOH would work well in a stadium setting………….it is a slow paced song. I Got The Blues worked at the Marquee and SSOH worked at the Rackett, but unless they come out into a small stage in the audience, which they are not going to do again imho, then I just can’t see SSOH working well. I also doubt they will be playing a 2 hour set list any more, unless it is sea

QuoteTrulyMicks1 Do you think they will play this one on tour with Chanel singing Lady Gaga’s part? One of the things I love about this song is how incredible Gaga is, yet she does not steal the show from Mick. I think Chanel can handle it and hope they add it as a regular to their setlist. Probably belongs in the setlist thread, but, if they play 3 HD songs, I'd guess they'd be Angr

QuoteRollingFreak QuoteVoodooLounge13 I prefer The Wall. And it's honestly the only Floyd I need. All that you say RollingFreak is what I feel about The Wall. Everyone in unison. DSOTM is just a dud for me, as is quite a bit of Floyd. They have some very good albums - The Final Cut, Division Bell, Momentary, first 1/2 of Piper, Saucerful - but nothing comes close to The Wall for me. On

Expanded tour dates below. On sale 2/2. No Ryman (Nashville) on March 27 even though it was leaked last week. Odd... Maybe they're trying to see how Memphis sells first.

QuoteStonedInGva The Kinks in 1964 or 1965 in a small town in Switzerland, Neuchâtel. With longish hair and a barrage of electricity and energy, they seemed to come from a different planet. I cannot remember if we had already heard of Swinging London, but we knew something was happening there. Tough to top that one! Wow!!

The leaked dates can still be found on other sites. I cannot recommend the rumored show at the Ryman enough. I saw him a couple of years ago there and it was easily one of the best shows I’ve ever seen by anyone.

There used to be a March 27 date at the Ryman in Nashville. Now it’s not there. Very weird. I called the Ryman and they don’t know about any tickets going on sale tomorrow.

QuoteDGA35 It seems a lot of country bands have multiple guitarists! I remember seeing Brooks and Dunn on the Tonight Show I believe, and they had just as many as the Eagles! Luke Combs has tons of people on stage but not a big, complex sound. Funny how 3 piece bands (Cream, Nirvana, Green Day, ZZ Top, The Police, Hendrix Experience, Rush, Motorhead, Melvins...) often seem to have a fuller sou

QuoteDandelionPowderman Quoteliddas QuoteLeonidP And I'd remove Connection, Keith is just background on that one. I know he did it live w/ Winos, but I don't think he ever did it w/ the Stones live. He sang it at least twice with the stones: it's on the Shine a Light movie! C He's done it lots of times. A killer version in Hyde Park in 2022, for instance. Yep. Busted
