Ron Wood. What has he done for the Stones guitar wise? Name one interesting solo. I liked him in The Faces though.

Maybe that's one of the reasons I love The Rolling Stones. I can't stand it when singers go "Everybody sing. C'mon I can't hear ya! Louder!! Everyone at the back!! C'mon!! Na na na na-na-na naaa na-na-na naaa Hey Jude!!"

Why is it so hard for people to appreciate a song they haven't heard before? Never got that. If you've only heard the warhorses (hate that expression by the way) and love them you shouldn't have any problems with lesser-known songs that are just as good. I can't stand those narrow-minded morons.

I remember Stockholm 1998 (indoors at Globen). The songs that worked best were from Bridges over Babylon. Mick was on fire during "Out of control" and the audience could never stop singing the chorus of "Saint of me" after the song had stopped. Mick and Keith were just smiling happily.

Always thought that cover was pretty ugly. A joke. Doesn't fit the emotion of the song.

Lyrics are very important. If a song like Sympathy for the devil had nonsense lyrics about for example chewing bubble gum it would not be as good even if the music was exactly the same.

The perfect recording! Only a moron would ask Merry Clayton to a retake because her voice cracked. It's sounds beautiful! Yes, it's Merry. Merry Clayton's name was misspelled on the original release, appearing as 'Mary'.

KISS did an unplugged tour in 1995 where those obscure songs were a great part of the set. Only die-hard fans in the audience. Well, the high ticket prices for that tour kept others away anyway. I would like to see Rolling Stones tour like that. Yes, I would pay a bunch.

John Lennon at The Bealtes Royal Variety Performance in London (4 November 1963) attended by Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother, and Princess Margaret: "For our last number, I'd like to ask your help. The people in the cheaper seats clap your hands. And the rest of you, just rattle your jewelry." Edit: Sorry, just realised this isn't from a live album. Well, it's in

The music of The Beatles is over-analyzed which I think has done more harm than good. I've read all the books and it's been quite interesting and fascinating. But I can't really enjoy the music like I did before. I think too much when I listen these days. I don't want to destroy the music of The Rolling Stones in the same way. I just want The Stones to keep rocking in my ea

I think Van Halen has got a different status in America than in Europe. In Europe they're mostly appreciated by hair metal-fans. In America every true rocker seems to love their classic albums. Am I wrong?
