For those with expectations: The 24-bit Buffalo by Binko uploaded to Zomb is a very good recording lacking a bit of bass emphasis. It is better than the JB recording (less distant), but not as up-front and lively as JSteve's, especially JSteve's after sweetening by rskinno and others. The best use of the new Binko, IMHO, would be to take songs 2 and 3, equalize them to rskinno'

It doesn't always suck live now, but when it does... Chuck Leavell depended on instead of Chuck Berry Also - to reproduce the album version would require acoustic rhythm guitar. Ronnie could do it. Would it kill them? They could have tried it on Strpped.

I think the Bobby Womack thing was reported in the press as happening at another show. I was at 8-8-75 and I didn't see a Stone until showtime, except for a brief glimpse of RW and BP on the turf behind the stage in the late daylight. I don't remember a disrespectful reception for Womack at all.

This is one of those threads that make you glad there's an internet. Bless you all and your memories, I know they mean as much to you as mine do to me. I'll post mine as soon as I do a little research into my collection.

If you were there. Rich Stadium 8-8-75 was pretty damn epic. Others disagree with me, and I can hear on the bootleg how the d***s start wearing off during Wild Horses and Fingerprint File. Still...if youd seen it, you'd have had a good one.

Quotemickschix Andrews27, I'm looking at my photos now...the white jumpsuit was often covered with a red & white patterned light-weight jacket and he wore a gorgeous red, black, white and gold sash around his waist...very long. At one point, he took off the jacket to reveal the top that had straps..the sides were very open. In one shot, you can see his ribs. The back was open and multi-co

I disagree. I missed the Aud show but I've seen about all the 1975 show footage that exists, and between that and the Goodnight America boot and the audience reaction and my memories, 8-8-75 was a good show. It was held a lot higher in local legend than Rich Stadium 1978 (I was at that one, also, and it was better than the worst opinions say). Goodnight America documents that 8-8-75 was &

I don't remember a white sleeveless jumpsuit. I remember MJ wearing the white gauze pantaloons with thin red stripes, tied at the ankles with red ribbons, as he wore at other TOTA tour dates. That and a separate shirt and jacket, plus cape. That's why I want pictures - to confirm. For my $10 ticket I was sitting in a $450 Stones area today - center stands, near-side of 50-yard lin

40 years ago today, TOTA ended with a previously unscheduled show at Rich Stadium, Orchard Park, NY. It was my first Stones show. If you believe Victor Bockris' biography of Keith, a certain MJ, RW, and BP dropped a*** while waiting for the sun to go down, thus insuring a ragged, infamous and debatable show for all time. The boot Goodnight America has the evidence that it was not an i

THANKS FOR THAT UP, EDDIE !!! "Thru and Thru," which I cited on Pirates, is of course from Voodoo Lounge, not B2B. I just wrote that incorrectly because I love Thru and Thru so much. I probably have the long version from Pirates (not a remix) somewhere on the Voodoo Brew/Stew series.

Is there a lossless recording of these unreleased Bridges remixes? Might As Well Get Juiced (Keith's Revenge Mix) Low Down (Edit) Out of Control (Papa Was a Rolling Stone Mix) Already Over Me Thru and Thru These are all on Marko's 2006 Pirates of the Vaults 1-5, but you can only get that in .mp3 now Pirates of the Vaults, unfortunately, has problems. @midnrambler: A lot of us have the original shows that the KBFH and other radio tracks are taken from, whether in SBD or audience. I probably have it all by now. It's nice, though, to have the radio broadcasts as collections and for their historical appeal - including the overdubbing and announcements. Sometimes it's nice to hear what turned you on many years ago when you didn

Kind of distant sounding, but tracks 2 and 3 might be equalized to patch JSteve's Buffalo. Maybe.

Sounds right, thanks. Thanks, exilestones, for the scholarship andf pix. It wouldn't be bad if, in the Stones Jubilee Year, torrents of the old radio recordings returned, including Brussels/London 1973 as heard on KBFH.
