I also live in Illinois and appreciate the info. Don't understand why some people want to waste so much effort trying to discredit people. My brother in law works for Ticketmaster so I understand how inside info works and how plans change. My brother in law is dead on accurate 85% of the time. The 15% he isn't I don't hold it against him.

Voodoo-already replaced! It's hard to find that one. It's actually an important amd they charge way more than they should. On a whim I checked Barnes and Noble. My local store had one sitting on the shelf in the $5.99 bin!

Yep, easier to fix a jewelry case than a DigiPak. My girlfriends teen daughter snapped the teeth off of my Soundgarden Down on the Upside cd a few weekends ago.

Voodoo-It is a good problem to have! Tool also over does it with packaging that doesn't fit. The DBT extended version of the Dirty South also doesn't fit. I feel like I have a Springsteen one too that doesn't fit. Good chance if box stores ever get the vinyl in and I see one while passing by, I will probably get one. Just not going to put effort out to seek them out. I was lucky en

Topi-I have the CD and will probably stop there too. I have every Stones studio album on vinyl but really can't justify spending $35 on s vinyl record that seems to be in high demand already....just to complete the collection. At age 47, I'm over being a completion.

Nothing worse than the oversized Digipak that doesn't fit any CD rack. I have a few of those. And Metallica seems to go extra wide with multiple gatefold with their Digipak's where a simple slipcase style would do just fine.

I'm not sure I can ever recall having a choice before. I feel like for the most part CDs are one or the other. I got the Digipack because it is what they had on display and wad easy to find. I really don't have a preference either way.

Oddly at Barnes and Noble the digipack was $1 more than the jewel case.

A Bigger Bang had 16 tracks Darryl played bass on 10 or 11 of the 16 tracks. Still the bulk of the album but was still absent on 5 or 6 tracks. May be an availability thing. Or maybe Andrew Watt is just a fan of his own Bass playing!

24FPS-I got up early today to do some online checking before work. Only Barnes and Noble had it where I live. I did a buy now and pick up in store purchase. Not sure how many they got in, but Barnes and Noble was the only box store I found that had it

Actually enjoyed the first listen. Mix bag of genres and a short run time with 12 tracks helps. Doesn't feel too long or bloated. I will agree with a reviews that early on it has a Mick Jagger solo album vibe to it, but as it goes along it gets better. Also, too many guests kind make the band sound inconsistent at times. Overall I like and I'm sure I'll listen at least 10 more time

Snoopy2-Are you in the US? $48 seems higher than the normal $34 or $39 for vinyl.

OK, let's just take a minute to think how crazy this is. 15 years ago stones were open at Midnight for major releases. Even if you didn't go to a Midnight sale, the next morning you could have had about 15 plus options of where to go to buy a physical copy. Now, there is no garuntee there will even be physical copies available at the very few stores that even still carry CDs/LPs. Thing

I feel like you will have better luck with Vinyl than CD. Box Stores seem to get about 5 CDs in per release. Barnes and Noble seem to get many more. If going to Target or Walmart, I'd go as soon as they open. B&N usually has a buy now and pick up later option. That is probably what route I am going. Better safe that way then taking a chance with Target, Wal-mart etc.

OK, I will pre order but am I the only one slightly disappointed with part 2? A lot of their late 70s/early 80s alums are out of print. I was hoping to get a remastered version of the song Low Budget. I thought Vol 2 would feature more late 70s/80s era but not the case.

LIV69-Welcome! And better late than never. Voodoo13-Always enjoy your comments. I think you and I being the same age means we experienced the Stones in a similar way.

I'm all for this 3 or so shows in 4 or more cities concept. I do think 14 shows is about the magic number per year these days. Literally anything we get these days is a Bonus! Would love to hear the new material live next Summer!

Much respect for Tyler and Aerosmith for actually postponing due to voice issues instead of just using a ton of backing tracks like another certain not to be named 70's band touring right now.

Rolling Stones in 2023 still have more Swagger then just about any band out there. Angry literally has more "teeth" than anything out there contemporary.

Nooooo. Just a great example of someone who was never in the band but is such a huge part of the lore of what makes up 60 plus years of the Stones. Sam Cutler and Jimmy Phelge both pieces of the jigsaw puzzle that make up the Stones. Rest up Jimmy.

This news kind of puts me in the mood to close out the work day with A Bigger Bang. Can't wait to start the countdown to the official release. Fingers crossed for a Summer US tour.

I think the best thing about Mick is that he enjoys life. Seems simple but the world is full of millionaires and performers that seem completely miserable. Every tour it's fun to see what Mick is up to on off days.
