I think in the last four years Keith sang and played the best on the Australian leg of the 14 on Fire tour, judging by many, many YouTube videos :-)

Quotetioms Hi MonkeyMan2000, I paid €400 for the LP Box and €58 for postage to Belgium. Greets, Yeah, maybe it's different for Switzerland because I'd have to pay €143.49. But I ordered the CDs with the singles with €58 delivery charge, and will probably get the LPs later on without the singles.

I hope it will include All Down The Line, Angie, Paint It Black and Out of Control because those are the songs that weren't in SSS. Although Keith's solo in OoC was a bit...bad ><

Quoteswitchblade1975 Quotegeordiestone People who constantly yell the names of songs out just so they can prove they know them with no hope of the band actually playing them. Or just general shouting out song names between songs. Drives me crazy!you said it. When I listen to Ya Yas, the girl that shouts "Paint It Black" drives me crazy!

All of those songs are blues songs, but you could say that Tie You Up falls into other genres too.

QuoteAle67 The LARS version on the cd is totally unreleased to my ears. Slower, simpler, somewhat a little uncertain, a completely different mix compared to the original 1995 Stripped version and single edited version. Am I wrong? I think you're right. Keith plays acoustic on this version

I think the recent versions of Rocks Off aren't that strong, because Keith plays those Chuck Berry licks, so there's no real rhythm guitar. Maybe it would sound fuller if he played it in open g and just rhythm. And the other thing missing in the recent versions is the right piano playing, I think. But still there are some great versions of this song

QuoteHonkeyTonkFlash QuotePaddy Slightly OT but where was this version of Rocks Off recorded? I think it sounds excellent! Better than the album version Damn that is a good version! Can't tell where it's from though... I really like this one too. But they should tune the horns! ><

If they indeed release a Blues CD, I think there will be some variety in the songs. I don't think Mick would want to release an album with just 12 bar chord songs. So I'm really looking forward to it. There will be some Blues standards, maybe a Chuck Berry song, maybe even an R'n'B song.

Well I really like early Clapton and I love his playing. But I think he somehow lost his "authenticity". When I listen to the Stones playing Blues, I get the same feeling like when I listen to Muddy Waters or Jimmy Reed. I don't really know what it is but somehow.... Well, I don't know. It probably is a matter of opinion.

This was posted on Keith's FB page. It says it is from Havana. So I guess Bernard's photo wasn't taken in the Studio.
