It would be nice if they did San Diego, after canceling their last show there during pandemic. Most big stadium bands do a combo of San Diego and LA back to back. It works well logistically. Problem is you can’t really play a baseball stadium in season. They played Petco before and worked great, 48k, but this tour needs to be football stadiums. The new one in SD, Snapdragon, is great concert ve

QuoteHairball New album + new tour = new stage. And I wasn't suggesting a massive/expensive stage design ala No Filter, but something visually classy and minimal along the same lines. If they want to save money and have an easily transportable stage, they could use a similar flimsy stage ala Sixty Tour, but hopefully it will be redesigned to reflect the new album/new tour. QuoteDan Quoterocknola My spider senses tell me Arena shows in New York BV posted 10 shows in NYC was on the table. That might make sense for the new album and wouldn't really be counted as a tour if they are all in the same place for a month. Yes, I’ve been saying for years they should do a residency where they really get in to deep cuts, and show a variety each night. But that’s

On the last few tours I remember someone connected with their management said they are not “comfortable” doing more than two months at a time, and not more than 1 or 2 shows a week. So that’s basically a 10 - 14 show mini tour. Maybe a spring North America and Fall South America tour.

Good point. Not a single US show sold out on the last tour here, except the small casino show. They would have better luck going to cities they haven’t hit in years. They probably will play it safe with NYC & LA, but if they did new US cities, here is how my 2023 North America Spring Tour would look like: Vancouver Salt Lake City San Diego Orlando Memphis Kansas City Cleveland Min

Will any of the shows be indoors? I don’t know all these venues. Also, my understanding is most shows at that time, in Northern Europe will be in daylight, as the sun sets very late.

I don’t see why you can’t release whatever you have done, and fill it out with a few rock & blues covers to honor their influences. Would any fan complain about a 10 song album? Most fans are used to downloading songs these days.

They are not going to retire with the 60th tour next summer, but I do think the big tours will stop. By that I mean crossing America or Europe for 15 shows. I bet Euro 2022 is the end of that. They’ll become a special event band after that. Still performing in great venues for special occasions, charity shows, maybe a residency. Obviously Mick could still tour he’s so fit, but he’s also super

Remember the key factors to them deciding on a 60th anniversary tour. 1. Everyone has to be healthy 2. All 3 guys want to do the tour 3. Conditions in Europe have to be safe. 4. Futbol/soccer stadiums are available from May - August, so that’s their tour window Also, the magic number for the guys seems to be 10 -15 shows these days. You have to do enough to make the big production profit

It Must Be Hell is one of my favorite songs, because of the great guitar riff. But most fans don’t even remember it, and they’ve never performed it.

QuoteHalfNanker Did anyone catch what Mick said after he mentioned that he was at the show? He mumbled something, then said "I read that wrong." I wonder whose name he was supposed to say? Yes, his staff writes up some location jokes for him which they post on the teleprompter. They probably meant to say Michael Douglas who’s a Big fan and lives there. Father Kirk has died.

We’re doing casinos now? Here’s my theory on this bizarre tacked on show. First it’s not about the fans. This is an event show. They are filming a movie of doing a live pay per view. It may be an album theme show, like Tattoo You. It may be a chance to do a bunch of deep cuts that Mick doesn’t like to do in stadiums. Most likely it’s a way to give their families & crew a vacation In Mia

Quotebengigan Best show of the tour hands down. And I say that considering SFM was omitted and the sound was shaky at times for me (I was closer to the back of pit 2 and found Ronnie's guitar too high compared to Keith) As for the positives..Mick was in a different universe compared to the other shows. It's like he wasn't satisfied if there was any dull moments. A few moments I&

I was dreading flying down here because I thought it was going to be like the Rose Bowl 2019. I still wanna get in the PIT for face value, bu

This has got to be some kind of special concert. You don’t do a stadium tour, and all of a sudden do a theater show. Perhaps the Tattoo You album, or some theme like that. Remember the Sticky Fingers show in LA.
