Quotecrawdaddy It's a bit like The Wick at Richmond and Mick and Jerry's place just down the road more or less. Not very likely you're gonna see Pete, or Jerry unless they are walking the dogs in Richmond Park. At least it's a beautiful view from the top of Richmond Hill. Edith Grove is a busy main road (Red Route). They couldn't repeat that first photo shoot sitti

Quotejbwelda Thanks for the info on the mobile studio, Matt, I have thought about building a scale model of it at some point, but would need to have some photos of the interior. Of course, then I would have to donate it to you for your museum. Have done similar before. Donated this one to Roger Steffens Reggae Archive: jb That's totally awesome... I thought of asking someone to make one.

Quoteronkort Matt, I gave you my photographer sticker after Ronnie his solo show in 2001 at SBE. From what I read it is also the start of your collection ;-) You got into the after show at a club. It was freezing outside. You handed me an ice cold beer bottle. Have you still got the sticker? Best, Ron Hi Ron, I had been collecting since 1995 but 2000/2001 were the start of the Golden years.

Quoteangee Matt, are the items borrowed for Exhibitionism pointed out in the book? Not specifically no... I don't have everything I lent to the exhibition in there but the most important things like the first contract and the first acetate of course. It's got a pretty even spread of stuff from all eras.

QuoteStoneage Congrats, Matt Lee. There is a long process from talking about writing a book till actually making it happen. (Even if this seems to be mostly a photo book.) Many people talk about it few get it done. You did it, Matt. Well done. Thank you! Plus VAT on the commission!... They were just shy of £130,000 all in. Auction houses typically quote "come get me" estimates. It gets people interested and thinking they have a chance. In this case, Christies not having done Rock'n'Roll in years were relying on a wealthy client base as opposed to a Rock'n'Roll expert base. These are unique jackets made for historic

I'm a serious collector, I doubt everything, I need evidence... I consider the evidence and I make a judgement and I am very happy to change my view with the emergence of new evidence. I am always learning. I don't want to string out this argument. I agree there is a big difference between design and artwork (I have owned three marketing / creative / media agencies). The tongue use

My understanding is that the "merchandise version" of the tongue was created because much of the merchandise range was enamel and you need both enough space for the enamel to flow but also a wall to ensure the separation of the enamel colours.
