The best 1976 tape : a warm upclose SB! The performance is not as good as the Paris ones but it's very enjoyable nonetheless. Thx for the FLACs!!!

Good evening, I was wodnering if someone had in his/her collection this one, which offers our hero's Toronto March 77 piano sessions in best possible quality... Much better than the previous version (on Greengrass Record) which was frankly a stinker (I know I had it!) Try listen to this music and not be moved to tears...

Now that the story is old we can speak the truth : OBR's version of this fantastic gig was simply HORRIBLE. What was described as vg/exc. was in fact g+ at best. Their version was hissy and prone to overload even at moderate volume... Glad I sold my green OBR digipack eons ago... ;-) and thanks for the VGP upgrade!

Many many thanks to you Mr Snow! I tried to track down this one on Dime Zomb & TTD. And of course it was on Hunger... PS : a bunch of extra thx for all the rare Cds you decided to rip and share. 90% of the torrented Stones boots stem from YOU so kudos to you ;-)

Hello, I was wondering if a kind soul would share this show with us... either from "L.A. Fog" (VGP) or from ""Love You Live Los Angeles" (DAC). It's an exceptional performance and I'm sure it would please many IORRers ;-) Thx!

A million thanks to you for the FLACs for these 2 "golden age" shows. Am I wrong or is the 1969 11 26 CD made from TWO tapes : - the well-known exc. recording that appeared previously on "Live In Washington" (sic) on Moonlight - a g/vg tape that starts at 4.48-4.49 of "Love In Vain"?

Completely OT but sseing Fox News to attack to denouce Clear Channels evil dongs reminds me of the pot and the black kettle. Remember the utter bunch of lies F.N. poured on the heads of its poor viewers prior to the Irakian quagmire.

Good news but why not have them open for the Stones in Paris since they blossomed there. So we can skip the terminnaly shitty opening acts of the last 27 years (Gun 1990 Bon Jovi (gulp) 1995 Stereophonics 2003 Razorlight 2007... nuff said). C'mon Keith you owe your French fans one!

This is definitely a rip-off since there is no mention of the place where this monstruosity has been (or will be?) printed : if it's Italy fine, the Rhino guys are looking for the best but if it's Hong Kong I can say they wanna make a fast buck...

She made an easy-listening record in France and she sold 1 million copies there (that is like 4 millions for the US market). Then she made another one and it flopped badly. She now looks much worse than during her glory days (wrinkles, empty stare). Therefore she's not the @#$%& she used to be... but appearently she shagged the guys who helped her make her 1st disc. (one of them opened

Errrr am I the only to think that drunk or sober she WILL disappoint 'cos she's basically talentless? She's one of the "black voice in a white body" singers the record companies love to discover every six months (remember Josh Stone?). Me I stand by my Aretha Franklin CDs...

"That's why mick taylor is gone too" Yes but he NEVER wrote anything of value be it inside the Stones or outside. His "best" songwriting effort "Time Waits For No One" has this horribly dated 70's sound with endless soloing à la Peter Frampton. MT was just great at embellishing stuff written by the Twins... very much like Bill Wyman!

"He's a sucky photographer. He was just in the right place at the right time" Agree. He certainly ain't in the "Jim Marshall" league. May he choke on his newly-acquired wealth. Plus I don't like the fact that in his book the captions and quotes are printed ON the pictures. Very amateurish design... 880£ for a copy of "Exile"? Well if there is

If you look at the bare facts (650 units for an edition of 2600 copies) and think about how the photo-book business works in general you quickly realize this one is a giant rip-off : there is just no way a "limited" edition of 2600 copies of a title will be worth one day the asked retail price. In the "art-book" world 650$ is a common price... for a book that comes with an

C'mon C.W. was so out of it during the 1985 sessions that he once fell off his drum stool... K.R. told him sth like "hey you're playing MY part, pal". It's pretty a well-known thing that the recording sessions for "Dirty Work" were like an episode of E.R. : EVERYTHING was tried to keep the patient (i.e.the album) alive like bringing in side-men (Jimmy Page Ste

He cleaned up his act because his daughter asked him to : he started to look like "Dracula" and he was "scaring her" (quotes from a 1995 RS interview). Steve Jordan held most of the drumming chores for "Dirty Work". He hits the snare VERY hard so it's easy to tell whether C.W. played on certain trax or not...

There might be NEW things coming from the R.Frank side coming to us soon since CS Blues will be OFFICIALLY released newt Spring. Along with a new Frank-endorsed transfert (yum!) we'll get about 25 minutes of Super-8 material Frank shot during the 72 Tour. Random thoughts : - My copy has MJ snorting blow from the tip of a switchblade. Rings a bell? - Yes CS Blues is the greatest rock

Correction... please read "this trick used to work 15 years *ago*" One more thing : The 1992 ‘A Celebration Of The Blues’ live tracks that were on a CD-single were not shabby either (thanks to Gary Moore). These songs (or better the complete MJ appearence should have been on this CD.

The disappointing sales figures reflect the quality of the sampler i.e. it is rather poor. Putting out a CD made at 95% of well-known material spiced-up with 5% of new stuff (availbale for ages on boots in COMPARABLE quality) show the people who manufactured it are living in the past : this trick used to work 15 years but in 2007 it doesn't anymore. I think we fans want to hear NEW stuff

Yes he's really an unpleasant character. He's been licking the arse of the prez/P.M. of France USA and Great Britain about Africa. And guess what? These 3 countries are in the world's top-5 arms sellers. Hey Bonehead, the solution was before your nose : these people are part of the problem. They'll NEVER be part of the solution for Africa and the whole Third World's pro

RE "Infidels" Bob himself decided to leave out of the final album edit the best tracks. Mark Knopfler who witnessed this tragedy first-hand, still refuses, to this day, to talk about it in interviews! What's pretty funny is Bob managed to do this trick TWICE : the 1983 outtakes that are on "Bootleg Series 1-3" are still NOT the real deal : you also have to pursue Scorp

Scorpio is/was pretty good at the game. "Time Trip" vol.IV is a classy release. If ONLY they done with the Stones what they've done with BRoooce or Dylan... Maybe one day, after Keith & Mick have opened their vaults for the official 4-CD retrospective box, the REAL stuff will pop up on a Scorpio's 10-CD set...

The poor sales reflect the lack of the appeal this item has : 95% of well-known material + "Too Many Cooks" & ONE Red Devils sessions track which have both existed on boot for ages... The "I'll spice up well-known stuff with one or two unreleased cuts and people will buy my CD en masse" strategy is over Mick! What about putting 7 or 8 live cuts from the 1993 Webste
