QuoteVoodooLounge13 I have never really been a collector of the Stones vinyl, preferring everything on CD, and even there I do have plenty enough holes to plug these days. However, I have in more recent years added to the vinyl collection. For instance, I bought LIAGT on orange vinyl; have the 12" of Satisfaction released a few years back; the 50th anniv of Beggars; and the rerelease of th

I have both Sticky Fingers and Some Girls MFSL Original Master Discs and they are absolutely the best sounding vinyl I have heard. Although technology probably prevented some of the very early 1960's albums from sounding as good, t least at the time these albums were released. I think I have had them since the early 1980's. I still have a copy of each still sealed. I went to CD&#

I have high speed internet. I could just vacuum the house if I wanted to hear noise. And after reading the reviews on here I will just not bother to listen to them. They would have had radio play if they were any decent. We heard Ghost Town regularly at work when it first came out but neither of these two songs if you can call them songs. I agree with you 100%. I saw SAL in the theatre and that was enough for me. QuoteErik_Snow ....those 2 albums, Live Licks and Shine A Light are the only 2 Rolling Stones albums I still don't have, nor do I want to hear them

I have never listened to any of this. I saw somewhere that there were hardly any sales and the first couple of reviews I read were not very positive so I just skipped over it. 60 pages later I wonder if I missed anything?

We were living just outside Washington DC and could see the Concorde landing at Dulles International. In fact it was such a popular site for people to see when it was landing that they use to post the time it would land on some of the news stations.

I am wondering why they did not give us the 3D rebroadcast of this show. It would seem that would be an easy extra to add. Personally I thought the 3D mix was better than the PPV mix. Or, I wonder why they did not give us the IMAX show but I guess that will be another remix/ remaster that we will have to pay for again. I just don't understand why they can't give us a little

Quotecrawdaddy Looks good. Just seen the e-mail about it. Wouldn't it be great if our lads in The Rolling Stones come up with something as good as that. It sure would be nice if the Stones broke into the vaults and gave us something that is not already officially released and something that is not an old pay per view or something heavily bootlegged. We all know they have a t

The Who may have been forced to delay their 2020 tour plans due to the pandemic, but they’re trying to make it up to fans by launching Join Together @ Home on YouTube this weekend. It’s a six-week series that will showcase “live and rarely seen footage, mini videos and special screen footage, culminating with a performance from a previously unreleased show,” according to a press release. The s

I just saw the new video for this song. What were they thinking? It's horrible. Even if they had used old clips from the 70's it would have been better than this. It almost ruins the track.

Quoterollmops Washington DC 07/03/2019. 50th anniversary of Brian Jones'passing away. They played MercyMercy that night. Last time the Stones played that song was in England for Hyde Park show 1969, honoring Brian. In DC Mick mentioned Don Covay the songwriter who was from DC. I took it as a tribute to Brian Jones which made that moment super special. Rockandroll, Mops I sort of think th

QuoteChrisL QuoteBritney I rank Emotional very high in my top 50 of favourite Stones albums, so a Super Deluxe reissue would be highly appreciated. Agreed. Though I would easily put it high up in my top 40 favorite Rolling Stones records. I would also put this in my top 40 favorite Rolling Stones records.

I am surprised we did not get an At The Max disc on this set. Maybe they will reissue that with extras like the full concerts from the shows. I was at all the Atlantic City shows in 1989 and think the final show was the best of them. I remember they had garlands around the microphone stands and such.

I would like to see this come out as well and I think there are some pretty good "leftovers" on the album. Aren't there a couple of versions of Dance I think I have an EP with two versions and they are different from the album version. Maybe one of them is on Sucking in the 70's. Also isn't there an extended version of "Where the Boys All Go" out there s

None of us really know when the song first came about as none of us were there. It may have just been an idea during the GHS recordings and they brought it back at a later time to see if they could make something out of it. Also, none of us can be sure if the writing on the photo of the master tape is legit. This could easily have been photoshopped to whatever they wanted us to believe. L

I don't think Emotional Rescue worked very well live either. It was too drawn out like Miss You is compared to the earlier tours (78 & 81). There were so many other choices of songs they could have used instead..........Love is Strong, Worried About You, Memory Motel I could go on and on but I still think this song was a poor choice for them to play. Although it was nice to get

This shirt would be great to wear for doing some Dirty Work like mulching the yard, patching drywall, painting, or patching the roof. It would also make a great dust rag.

And I agree there is some great guitar work
