I think I am just like most men here and really forget about what music is on. I would say the lyrics "You dream of it passionately, you get rise from it, feel the hot cum dripping off your thigns from it" From the Undercover album.

I have a collection of MFSL original master discs some still sealed I would never part with. I think the Dark Side Of the Moon UHQR disc only 5000 made is worth a lot since one of them is still in the original wrapper. No, my Sticky Fingers and Some Girls still sealed are not for sale.

I would like to have Don Kirshners Rock Concert archives there has got to be a ton of stuff in there. The Ed Sullivan news has been around a few months now. The 1970's was full of shows with guest artists like The Johnny Cash show or Kenny Rogers. Hopefully a lot of this stuff will come out down the road.

I was at this concert. I believe it was the first time they played "She Was Hot". I remember Ronnie wearing a heavy coat and yes it was freezing cold. QuoteDandelionPowderman Chicago, October 11 2006, must have been a short one. From what the rest of the band says Brian was not able to perform as well as expected. The band has definitely not been the same since Mick Taylor left. When Bill left the band pretty much started on their Vegas years. Ian on the other hand seemed like the glue that held all of them together and I think the lost the biggest step when he left. The music does not have the same tempo an

If the Animals Deluxe includes California Stockyard this would be an excellent release. Delicate Sound of Thunder reissue doesn't do much for me I don't think I have listened to it since right after it was released. I agree with the other posts that the Roger Waters solo tours did have a better groove to them the the David Gilmour version of Floyd. It's a shame they co

I have this broadcast on tape. It was broadcast over one of the radio stations in the DC area I think it was in May or June of 1990. It is a different mix than the PPV and I believe it is the same as the 3-D televison broadcast. I haven't watched a VHS tape in years but it may be the time to pull out the old player and watch the 3-D version. I have the glasses someplace as well. I do

I use to listen to this album frequently and I agree that Hampton sort of put this on the backburner. It seems that maybe this album was released to help stop bootlegging/ piracy as several of the songs were broadcast. I say this because several of the Vault releases were broadcasts and I am sure Mick would rather have the money in his pocket than those of bootleggers. Maybe others h

QuoteMidnightGambler I'd like to have an official release of athe last show of the 1978 US Tour, Oakland, 26 of July. Perhaps the best show of that tour. Is this the concert where everyone tossed their shoes onto the stage?

I like this at first but over time do not listen to it as much. Both the song selection and the songs are done very well although they do sound a bit like they are forced songs and not just something they grooved on for a while and polished out. There are no "rocker" on the disc to pick up the tempo so it is a disc I have to be in a certain mood to listen to.

QuoteAV83 Best version of this concert to date is still the Wolfgang's Vault release. IMHO. Disappointed on this official release, mainly because I was really waiting for this and I wanted it to be really good.. Just go listen to the little red rooster version on Flashpoint, then take a listen to the one on this one. The one on Flashpoint is pristine. That's the way this release sho

QuoteGivenToFly15 Quotegeorgemcdonnell314 So can someone tell me what has the better sounding mix. The PPV version which I have had for years or the new release? Certainly the official release. Much clearer. Thank you. I was reluctant due to some of the other releases but I prefer the better sound.

Didn't Bill write in one of his books that each of them signed all five names sometimes? I'll have to read some of the book again but I am pretty sure he said something similar to this. That sure would make it difficult to tell what is authentic and what was signed by someone else.

If Mick Jagger had his way, the "Goats Head Soup" album cover would've been a lot more literal. Earlier this week, the Rolling Stones' Twitter account shared alternate artwork for the band's 1973 album, which will be re-released Friday. Among the prospective covers: A goat peering out from a simmering pot, nodding to the album's Jamaican origins. (It was mos

I think the big difference is after the late 70's they stopped "hanging out" together as a band and sort of went different directions until they needed to work together again. And I am sure the lack of touring from 1982 to 1989 took a toll. The shows became more theatrical and were almost the same routine each and every show.

I think some of their songs document their feelings about drugs enough they don't need anything else written about it. In terms of Mick quitting drink I remember in Houston in 1981 they did shots of Tequila and Mick commented about it. So he must have quit sometime afterwards.
