I am sure the song will wear into us. I remember Start Me Up took a bit to get used to. Same with Mixed Emotions. It's got a "WE ARE FRIGGEN BACK" riff to it. I think Charlie would like this one. My prediction is they will set up camp in a few select cities and play multiple shows in older venues which are not used as often.

Already? Something will be announced. Too much speculation, wishes, and hopeful thinking.

I always judge an album by the music, not the cover.

I'd like to hear it but I don't think it would work well in a stadium. There are other oldies which would work better. I do not see them changing the set list much, but we'll see. Maybe they are tired of Miss You.

I am not a Fallon fan either and probably won't watch for that reason quote=Topi] Quotepaulywaul Quoteerad ^ You nailed it, for the cheap laughs. I assume Universal/the Stones org are hoping he will bring a wider audience and therefore more $$$, after all that is what absolutely EVERYTHING comes down to now in modern society, the almighty $$$ and ever increasing profit margins. I wish they had put the original version of Waiting on a Friend on the remaster. What a great album. Even the outtakes they gave us are excellent tracks.

I think they complement each other every time I have seen them in concert. Especially the St. Louis show which was the first without Charlie. It's all the bickering which has kept their names in the headlines.

All of them since 1978. I only missed a few shows. There was nothing like the Fox Theatre 1981 show. I was in the front row.

Well, I did not read all through the first 9 pages but there is a Stones tongue as the dot in the I so it must mean something. I signed up and sure hope it is not another sign up for points towards merchandise or some other promotion.

It's just a movie preview. No shows planned. Doubtful if there will ever be another performance together. The fact that Byrne is now agreeing to appear in public with his ex-bandmates will surely generate rumors of a reunion tour, and it’s easy to imagine Live Nation making them a huge money offer. They are one of the few dormant mega-bands where every member is alive and well. But

I am not a fan but I will say she did a better job on "As Tears Go By" in Chicago than most of the other guest VOCAL appearances I have seen.

Has anyone ever seen Australian Pink Floyd? My boss just gave me 4 tickets for a show in September. Anyone have any input on this please share. Thanks.

I don't think something like this would work well. Traditionally the shows would start up tempo, slow down a bit, and then out with a bang. How would you do this without all the glitz and glamour? The idea sounds great to me. If they wanted to do it they would have done it in the 90's when the unplugged idea was fresh.

They did an abbreviated version of this in 1994 at the Miami PPV. It was called Stones "Unglued" if I remember correctly.

It's a feeble attempt to overcome the negativity from his last tour. Some of his comments have been offense to others. especially his former bandmates.

This top notch doctor passed away and was going through the pearly gates. He saw a guy walk by wearing a white robe with a stethoscope. The doctor looked up at St. Peter and said "who is that". St. Peter replied "It's god..........he thinks he's a doctor"

Well said. And I agree. quote=RollingFreak] Could never have a reunion without Richard Wright. So glad he was there at Live 8, even though the cameras didn't care enough to show him. The day he died, any hopes of a reunion went away for me. Wouldn't be legitimate and I could never see Gilmour agreeing now. All 4 of those guys were so important, and Richard is so essential to
