I bought the second box (the red one) when it was released, long time ago, but I can't remember the price. and I bought the first box (the blue one) a few years ago, can't remeber exactly the price, between 80 and 100 euros, I think they are nice releases, if you can get BOTH original boxes for 200 euros, that's correct for the original Midnight Beat boxes. copies on other lables

Thanks for the upload, Keessie. the sound for the Nicky Hokpins outtakes is so badly EQ'ed, it's IMPOSSIBLE to listen. A real shame. Are the DAC people deaf ? same songs are in far better quality on the Red Tongue Box.

I attended this concert. He was drunk but not too much, he was in a good mood, so he played fine. He repeated 4 or 5 times the lyric "you took my money you plundered my soul" during "Late At Night", just before Denny Newman played the solo. And it was a few weeks BEFORE the song was released ! Taylor also played Rainy Day Dream Away as a tribute to Hendrix.
