Really talented guy. I won't call him a genius, but he was really something special. One man band who wrote some truly incredible songs. Way Down Now, Call Me Up, She's The One, Vanity Fair, Put The Message In The Box, Ship Of Fools. Really special guy who had some bad illness and never really got his due. So thankful to have gotten to see him live once. Definitely suggest some check ou

Quotebitusa2012 A totally lazy and incomprehensible release. For someone who’s last release was about mortality, and who apparently has lots of unreleased studio tracks in the vaults, to continuously release the same style “greatest hits” packages is a nonsense. I’m a huge fan, have 100s of Springsteen bootlegs, but this is ridiculous, and the first ever Springsteen record I will not buy. If

Quotemjmjr QuoteVoodooLounge13 Really loving Wanting and Waiting. To me it’s better than anything on HD!! It’s got more soul. It rocks. And it sounds authentic. Anyone know who the new lead guitarist is? The video is pretty great too. You can't be serious I believe it. HD was really not good. This doesn't sound revolutionary, but it at least sounds like what you expect from th

Again, should make it clear I really enjoyed the release. Deep cut after deep cut, even if most were pretty standard for those theater shows on that tour. Its a really fun listen to get something different than just warhorse after warhorse. They sound great and its an immensely fun show to hear to hear something diferent from them. I just don't assume I'll ever really feel the need to p

QuoteWuudy What a beautiful song is No Expectations. This rendition doen't beat the Stripped one in my opinion but Jaggers voice is stunning on this one! I don't think I've ever heard them do it poorly. Personally, my favorite is Rock And Roll Circus, but any version is excellent.

Brian sounds great on that. He should do more of that kind of singing instead of trying to reach back into his youth for AC/DC stuff he can't really pull off anymore. Still has a voice, just has to be in the right range for the right thing.

Actually, there is a documentary. He tells the story how they were planing his version of Dune. Just search youtube. The funny thing is that a lot of graphic images were recycled in Bladerunner, Alien, Promehteus and

Quotebye bye johnny QuoteDiegoGlimmerStones The NFL has reached an agreement with Taylor Swift for the artist to perform at the upcoming 2025 Super Bowl Halftime show, according to reports Source of those reports is an "Exclusive" in the US Sun. QuoteStonedRambler Quotehockenheim95 Keith is VERY loud in the mix I honestly don't get the fuzz about the 2002-2003 tour. Keith is more focused on his moves than on his playing and Ronnie seems drunk and unfocused as well. Mick and Charlie deliver though - as always. I've always assumed it largely has to do with the different sets depending on the venue they were playing on the

QuoteElmo Lewis I gotta add that the album with Jimmy Page is the best Zep live product. While I think its very good, I don't necessarily think thats true. To me, nothing tops How The West Was Won. That is Zep at their peak. Its actually a little before their peak, before they really indulged in it a little too much. That recording is just so in your face awesome. Having said that, the Cr

Quoteskytrench I think Taylor is somewhat guilty of that on the Wembley solos, I prefer the slower paced YCAGWYW solo (infusing his Winter parts) or the more 'to the point' solos of Tumbling Dice from Bruxelles. Yeah, to me the YCAGWYW solo is peak Taylor. Could listen to that playing all day.

QuoteTopi QuoteDGA35 I think everyone needs to realize that these guys, and all classic rock bands, are in their 70s or even 80s now. Phil will be 70 in a few months, perhaps he's at the stage where he can't do a major tour anymore due to his health? Exactly this. Steve Morse of Deep Purple quit touring both because he felt the tours were too long and because his wife was sick

Very sad to hear. Granted, he hasn't been the same in forever. He was arguably only "sane" for like a 10 year period before he really went off. But he's always stuck around, and he was my first favorite artist ever so I always have a special place for him. I saw him twice: once doing Smile at Carnegie Hall and once doing Pet Sounds at the Greek Theater. Both truly otherworldly

Funny you mention this song. This is my all time personal favorite Beach Boys song. Fun, meaningless and rocking. Always loved any incarnation, but the Beach Boys In Concert version is the holy grail for me. Can't tell you how many times I've played that. Just one of those songs that I personally love and always feel I'm the only one (and am damn proud of it). Makes me original.
